QUOTE(ITforce @ Mar 29 2013, 12:12 AM) New TX Black user.. I bought it today. But my TX cannot grab data signal when turned on Data. I'm using Digi postpaid, initially given a Mini Sim Card when i registered. Data network is working fine in my E dual phone which is mini sim phone. The sim card designed can be pop out into micro sim size and I insert it into my Tx, can grab GSM signal and do voice call n sms, but turn on Data cannot grab internet n data. Is it my phone problem or postpaid sim card must be changed to micro sim card ? Is your APN setting correct?I call Digi and the person says it can straight used as micro sim card. no need replace to micro sim card. |

QUOTE(kakikubesi @ Mar 29 2013, 10:13 PM) How to check origin country? Sorry, dunno how to check the country/region. If dont mind, can show me the step from flashtool until install ftf file? Sorry im very noob. If you really can't wait and are adventurous, you can use the Malaysian firmware. Grab the FTF file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211642 Install flashtool from here: http://androxyde.github.com/ I never use flashtool, I can't show you the steps. You can read a few pages back. Some forumers used flashtool to update. You can try ask from them. |

QUOTE(demio121 @ Apr 4 2013, 09:53 PM) anyone have problem where TX freeze and the screen goes blank but you can see the light is on. Last time got Sleep of Death (SOD). Now got Denial of Sleep (DOS).This happen to me everyday. I didnt notice that the screen is still on until one night in the dark, the phone freeze, sceem goes blank and i can see the light at the side of the screen. This been draining my TX battery over night. BTW, my TX is flashed to FXP. It happened to my TX once. I left the phone on the table after use. After about 1 min, the screen turned blank. But I still noticed the LCD back light was still on and the XPERIA word was still lighted up. I observed it for a while, then pressed the power button to turn on the screen, and press again to turn off the screen. Mine is Stock JB. |

QUOTE(OptimusMaximus @ Apr 5 2013, 02:59 PM) Guys I have some more questions, hope can get some answers 1. This is correct. The graph is there to show you how fast/slow your fully-charge 100% battery is draining its power. If you charge just a little bit, then the graph will go up a little bit.1. Just found out that my battery needs to be charged until 100% before the battery history show the time from last charging. Quite weird 2. If just talking about the browsers that came with the phone without talking about Firefox that can be downloaded, you guys prefer Browser or Chrome? By the way the Browser is by Google? I don't really like it much though, I find Chrome better 3. What's the difference between Email and Gmail app? I am just using the Gmail app only because I already have a Gmail account. 4. Is your Google account on your phone which is used for Google Play same as your Gmail account so u can check ur e-mails using the Gmail app? Or did u create a new Google account just for your phone? 2. Browser app is made by Android team. Chrome app is made by Chrome team. 3. Gmail app can only read from your @gmail.com accounts. Email app can read from a lot more like Microsoft Exchange, hotmail, other POP3 accounts. 4. For me, one google account is enough. I don't like to remember so many passwords. |

QUOTE(OptimusMaximus @ Apr 5 2013, 09:56 PM) 3. What's WisePilot for Xperia? I don't think I use this program, Media Remote and Xperia Link, can we remove them? 3. WisePilot is a navigation app. This is a trial version. It needs yearly subscription for advance features.4. What's the point of Explore other than for Sony to promote their products. And what's PlayNow ,appXtra and Sony Select for? They want me to agree to their terms when I first-time launch these 3 apps so I want to know what are they for before I agree to anything. 4. 'Explore' is a Sony product catalog. 'PlayNow' was a Sony music store back in the feature phone era. It is now an app store operate by Mondia Media. 'appXtra' is another app store by somebody, can't remember the name. 'Sony Select' is Sony's own app store. Why do we need so many app stores |
