A: Sony Mobile has provided a tool to let you do this. Get it from http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/. You may void your warranty, so read everything carefully. - Q: How to flash custom ROM?
A: You can find custom ROMs for TX from this XDA forum section. There are ROMs for T/TL/TX/V there, so pls choose carefully. - Q: How to enter Service Menu?
On the phone dial pad, enter this *#*#7378423#*#* You can remember this better as *#*#SERVICE#*#* - Q: What is touch firmware 'a', 'b' and 'c'?
A: Xperia TX has 2 different types of screen. Units with touch firmware 'a'/'c' is using the 'No Air Gap' technology. Units with touch firmware 'b' is using the OptiContrast technology. Units with OptiContrast technology have a better display quality, especially in the viewing angle. More info at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010335 - Q: How to find out my TX touch firmware/screen type?
A: Go into the 'Service' menu. Choose 'Service info' and 'Software info'. Only applicable to ICS firmware. In Jelly Bean firmware, this info is no longer available. It is still possible to find out the screen type, by looking at the screen under a bright light or sunlight. If you can see grid of lines or circuit on the screen, then it is 'a'/'c' No Air Gap type. If no, then it is 'b' OptiContrast type. FTF LinksHow to Calibrate the Battery» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « - Charge your phone to full 100%.
- Drain all the power on the phone until it dries up and turn off by itself. You can play videos, songs or games, anything that use the screen and speaker.
- While the phone is OFF, charge it until it is full 100%. DO NOT turn on the phone now.
How to know if it is full? When the notification light is green, just press the power button (don't hold, or you will turn on the phone), it will show a battery image. When the image does not have a 'lightning bolt' on it, then it is full. It seems like for JB firmware, the battery image does not change even when it is 100%. It'll all depends on your estimation now. - After this, turn on the phone.
Recommended Apps- Recommend your apps and I will list it here.
