I noticed 1 bug in JB on my TX. When the phone is in sleep and someone called me, after answered and ended the call, the LCD back light will not turn off. I have noticed this for almost every call I answered. I had to press the power button to turn on and off the display. If not, the back light will drain out my battery.

Damned Sony.
The JB update messed up the battery stat. My TX can survive at 1% for 4 hours!!!
To all owners who have updated to JB and found that battery performance is bad, you should calibrate your battery again.

QUOTE(OptimusMaximus @ Apr 26 2013, 06:19 PM) So do u think the white UI or the previous one is better? But I like the new transparent look of the panels now. I want to ask something, after updating to JB must recalibrate the battery? I did the steps mentioned in first post, I played with the phone till battery 0% left and the phone automatically off. Went to charge it, I told myself to take out after 1 and a half hour because I think that's when my phone reach 100%. I forgot and took it out 1 hour late, which means I charging it for almost three hours already . Is my battery still considered recalibrate already? It is ok if you charge it longer than needed. As long as it is 100% when you turn it on.

For first time Android user, you should install an app call 'App 2 SD'. This app will help you to move some of your apps to the 'Internal Storage' and free up some space on the 'Phone/Device Memory'.
The 'Device Memory' only has about 2 GB of space and the 'Internal Storage' has about 11 GB of space. By default, most new apps will install into 'Device Memory'. Only certain games will auto install to 'Internal Storage'.
This app2sd can show you a list of apps that can be moved to 'Internal Storage' and help you to 'move all'.

QUOTE(kadS @ Jun 2 2013, 08:01 PM) hi fellas, wana ask bout your display colors. the white, grey and blue colors..if you compare with other phone does it looks the same? because mine the blue looks slightly greenish. for example i have a blue wallpaper, if i put my phone side by side with my laptop the color is very different. i have compared with nexus 4, the blue color is the same with my laptop color but not my xperia t. My TX's blue colour looks ok. Nexus 4 is IPS LCD. Xperia T is TFT LCD. Maybe your laptop's LCD and Nexus 4's LCD are made by the same manufacturer, therefore the colour tone is the same.

I found this post and it explained why my phone's battery % is always not correct. http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/465239What I did was I took the battery out for a few minutes and put it back. The time got reset to Jan 2013, and the battery % went back to normal. This is a lot easier that recalibrate.

Search App2SD in Play Store. I use AppMgr III. EDIT: I also received this message and my internal storage is not even 50% full. This post has been edited by bladegun: Jun 17 2013, 12:43 PM

QUOTE(sonic_darkknight @ Jun 22 2013, 10:34 AM) owwwwhhhh........dun feel so bad, maybe got le for the next update for T. btw, I just installed the latest update 9.1.b.1.67 not sure why but first time after update the batt really consume a lot, in just less than five minutes already 10% gone, crazy!!! also i feel the refresh rate of UI is faster but choppy not as smooth as earlier JB version, another thing I noticed is camera is faster and image focusing is sharper. Oh ya, the xperia words doesn't light up so far after hung up calls. If you feel that the battery is dropping very fast, you can try this. Off the phone, take the battery out for about 5 minutes, then put it back and on the phone. This will tend to reset the battery status. It worked for me. The only drawback is you need to set the date & time again.

QUOTE(skybender19 @ Aug 5 2013, 07:29 AM) last night .. im just worried.. but when i woke up this morning from 45.. it became 28% ..is it normal ? LOL.. then the android came with 46% ... And also may i Ask what Task Killer is good ? or battery saver apps ? No need to use Task Killer. Killing tasks won't save battery. Look for battery saver apps that can manage the wifi, 3G and bluetooth connections like: JuiceDefenderGreenPower Free Battery Saver

QUOTE(Sonyxperiatx @ Oct 10 2013, 01:22 AM) This is my usage for today.. Today I got final and I dont use the phone very much... But I always thinks about the battery when I want to play games and that annoys me . Maybe I should buy power bank.. You can do a little test. Remember the battery %. Turn off your phone, take the battery out for like 2 minutes. Then, put it back. Turn on the phone and see if the battery % got increase.

QUOTE(Sonyxperiatx @ Oct 13 2013, 02:35 AM) Done that but nothing changed, I already recalibrate the battery but still the battery drained quite quickly.. Should I download battery saver app? Yes, battery will drain fast when running games, using GPS or downloading a lot of data. The battery capacity is not big after all. No harm trying some battery saver apps. But most practical is to get a power bank.
