At last my note 2 motherboard died. Changedcthe sim cos thot sim card faulty after changed found other phones can use but not the note 2. Have to claim for replacement sigh. Happened only last night 1030pm

Can you share what happened before the phone died? Any failures?

This is pretty similar as using battery saving app.
For example juice defender. You can still select an app to run without binding it to the juice defender.
Probably the concept is almost similar to what sony presents with the new phone?

Last time made call around 1030 last night. After that no signal for data or voice. Call hotline and went thru several rounds of resetting and went to sunway pyramid center to cjange sim as it did not work on any phone so thot sim change is the solution. Used in note 2 but same issue and when I used the new sim in my other phone the sim works.

do you remember which firmware you were using?

I read the first page and the ts says that if there is a hissing sound when charging the phone then can get a replacement set??
But i am confused now I did more research and some people say it is perfectly fine.. this is due to the fact that the charger is ssupplying huge amount of current into the phone.. the sound it makes is due to the flow of electrons across the wire.. did anyone experienced the same hissing sound??

I used Xperia, then Wicked then back to original firmware........Still no go.

I do experience hissing sound at the moment.
From the GCC app I could not get max input current which is1800mAh. My input current fluctuates between 1100mAh to 1300mAh. Now I cant get more than 1300mAh. I even got buzzing sound instead just hissing. But the buzzing is quite faint.

If charge via Yoobaoo power bank..only get constant reading of 1200mAh if using Yoobaoo cable..if stock charging cable only manage to get 1000mAh charge...trying to fully utilize power bank..so hissing charger is currently not monitored...might go and get them replace one of these days though..but want to test their hypothesis and use it to charge power bank {13000mAh}..Expectation: hissing sound persist if I charge the power bank via stock charger..if not..then what they say about note2 3100mAh battery being the cause can be dispute la..

Brightness is at 50% all the time, no auto brightness or power saver mode used.

I use note 2's charger to charge my note 2 & my motorola defy mini. Both also got hissing sound. Also use note 1 charger at office. Also got the hissing sound. So I can say its not becoz of the battery capacity.

haha then what are we going to say to defence our note 2?


Not only that, hope they will use similar setting called Smart Action (like tasker on Motorola), so no need buy Tasker
