my external hdd buffalo 1tb juz works great using a cheapo USB otg cable.
connect ur hdd to note 2, then open up this apps, it will detect your hdd. simply press mount and wait a while to let the note 2 to connect ur hdd.

it will have 2 directory settings after you connect, i juz use the default 1 which is easier for me.
every file in my hdd is usable and the video files played juz fine from the hdd. of course there is a 1-2sec pause if you skip d video.
but hey, it WORKS!

IP address will be assigned by the router. It will be fixed only if the router does not expire your "lease" ahahaa. Your IP address will also typically change if your reboot your device or router.
The MAC address is fixed as it is a value burned into the firmware of the network device by the manufacturer, so typically the MAC address is the unique IC number of any networked device in the world. However there are known ways to spoof the MAC address ie making a device with MACaddress1 show up as MACaddress2.

Yepp its the defalt setting for the Youtube app...u can vhamge it though....in the Youtube setting option...pretty str8 forward...u should be able to set it depending on ur choice of video quality XD
