QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Oct 11 2013, 01:44 PM) Will do man. Thanks. Oh this is my normal routine. It's just instead of back first I do arms first, that's the only thing that I switched. I'm on Pull/Push/Legs bro. I did considered having a complete separate body parts on separate days. I do understand your point. You think I should switch away from PPL to full separated body part routine? I'll lower my weight and correct my form first. I'll also do some mobility work (after researching them). welllll, you could also do more sets on the pull day itself. its all up to you really, if you feel your routine isnt doing much for your arm then find ways to go about that. lots of things you could do, ie supersets, pre fatigue, pause reps. hell just by adding more volume might do it im not a PT, cant really advice you whats best, just what I would do lol.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Oct 14 2013, 08:24 AM) Him and various sg folk. I don't get how is supposed to be funny in the first place. Sg people has made putting down people on purpose and laughing about it to pass it of as humour to an art form. Wanna be funny? Be funny. Being stupid isn't funny. Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to laugh about that putdown. LOL LOL HAHA /CHEER /endsarcasm This post has been edited by mikehuan: Oct 14 2013, 09:35 AM

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Oct 14 2013, 08:53 AM) It's okay guys. I deal with various kinds of people erday. Moving on, 4 days in, pain is still there. I'm gonna lay off deads and one arm DB rows for now. Prolly will do more sets of pull ups/chin ups, cable rows. And I've thought of adding chest supported BOR, this a good substitute? PS: I actually felt VERY comfortable when I first swing heavy DBs for DB bench. I felt some relaxing bone cracking (not literally, sorta like air pockets or something) as I lay down on the bench and swing the DBs on me. It felt nice and comfortable. I think it's time you go for a physiotherapy or at the very least a massage. Sport massage has helped me loads before

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Oct 14 2013, 09:52 AM) I'll be going for a massage to get some blood flowing to them deep tissue. Apart from this, do you have any advice or opinion on "And I've thought of adding chest supported BOR, this a good substitute?". Thanks man. just do anything that would work around that injury. cant really say until you've tried it QUOTE(ascension @ Oct 14 2013, 10:24 AM) Any recommended place for sport massage? for me i go to this massage parlor nearby my place. not a sports massage per say, but the masseuse pretty good at focusing on the area in pain.

QUOTE(xgamerz18 @ Oct 22 2013, 04:18 PM) i dun have any problem with squat if i go heavy because the power rack got safety pin...just problem with bp...i never seen safety pins for the bench...is it the 2nd pin that located on the lowest position?? If you can do (for example) a 90kg press for 5 reps, you can certainly do a 95kg for 1 or 2 reps. Knowing your limits is important for working out alone. For lifts without a safety to fall back on, don't push yourself for lifts you think is a 50 50. Leave a rep or two in the tank. You'll still progress believe me Dbs and smith are good tools as well, use them. Edit: you can also use the power rack to do bp. This post has been edited by mikehuan: Oct 22 2013, 06:59 PM

QUOTE(likimikuku @ Nov 28 2013, 12:12 PM) hi guys, i have a silly question, will it be possible to gain fat without muscle? according to bodybuilding.com i am Endomorph. i gain weight easily and i notice the "meat" that i gain is all fat.. soft.. so my question is "will it be possible that i gain only fat and without muscle"??? i workout 2~3 times a week body weight - push up, squat climb stair (15 story hight x 6 time) walk about with my wife. Thank you edit: i think i might be just skinnyfat..anyhow, will it be possible for someone to gat pure fat but not muscle?? err, of course its possible. thats how u get obese people in the first place. muscle development depends on your protein intake primarily. if you only consume enough protein for your muscle to repair itself and NOT grow, you wont gain muscle mass, plain and simple.

I don't really trust the machines tbh. Sure it's a good guide but it's not exactly accurate. Just by having more liquids can throw off the results.
Keep it simple, you think you are fat, cut cals across the board be it protein, fats or carbs
Don't sweat the small stuff. You're in for the long run. So long your poundages lifted increase that's the best indication you're gaining muscle

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Nov 29 2013, 10:18 AM) When I tracked back the weights that I was doing, I really did gained some strength.. Bench press Started from 2 sets 8x35kg Now 4 sets of 52.5kgx8, 55kgx5, 57.5kgx3, 52.5kgx5 I guess I should just buy a digital scale and track my cutting phase and ditch that body stats tracking... You don't even needa scale tbh lol.

QUOTE(Manlet @ Jan 24 2014, 12:25 PM) i short and bik buttt, thats why hard to buy hahaa... if i buy those that can fit my butt, it will be too long it disturbs my knees when squatting.. so im considering buying long pants now instead of shorts that becomes a three quarter on me woooot.. thanks im looking at al ikhsan long trackpants too.. seems suitable enough Fold up the pants if too long. I sometimes do that

QUOTE(Lionel90 @ Sep 2 2016, 03:57 PM) Is romanian DL same thing as stiff legged DL? if so i understand how it works the legs. Maybe i really need to learn to squeeze my lats before i execute DL to prevent rounding up, seems like the only thing i havent tried. No hyperbole in the saying that DL is the most commonly wrongly executed exercise in the gym If u haven't fixed a rounded back deadlift then u haven't fixed a lot of things, form wise. Rounded back should be the first thing you fix. You know why u have 0% tension on legs? Cos you deadlift with a rounded back. Bend your knees more at the bottom of the lift. Watch youtube vids. A lot of them around

QUOTE(Armesh @ Sep 3 2016, 11:16 AM) I can't do deadlifts with straight back (that's why I don't do them) because of very poor hamstring flexibility. So you might want to ensure that. So fix ur hamstrings first. Lots of flexibility training out there and tbh, flexibility is something u lose when u do bodybuilding exclusively
