i only use 35mm f1.8 or 55-300mm if i need background compression, if not then just stick with 35mm for best image quality

My drybox (cheapo Octopus) has failed to operate since yesterday. As I bought the camera few years back (year 2010 if I'm not mistaken), the drybox offer a life time warranty. So I called up the shop I bought from and to my surprise, Octopus no longer offer life time warranty and only 5 years warranty. I bought previously from another sales person of the shop which already left the shop for other job and now the current sales person insist that it is only 5 years.

So, I called up Digitalmania KL to confirm this. And the person in charge said yes changed to 5 years already. Now they wanted me to have the receipt to prove that my purchase was valid for the lifetime warranty.

Bloody hell ! How can I find the receipt for them ? doh.gif
And now left my drybox hanging half way. Personal experience to share. Never ever buy cheapo brand that guarantee lifetime warranty doh.gif

Saw the lifetime warranty title below ?

Nothing wrong but i spot dust when i shoot at F11 and above
*
Just your blower and clean yourself if it's on sensor
if inside lens, then you will have to pay $$$ to get it out.

Basically dust won't affect much of the photos.

I have tried using rocket blower to blow off the dust but it's not helping.
or should  i try to use hair blower first? perhaps it's oil on the sensor?
*
How you clean it ? Mind to share ?
Take your lens out and blow ?
If so, there is a curtain above your sensor. If the dust on sensor, it won't goes away.

How can turning live view on help to remove the dust on the sensor?
Nope.. first i take the camera out from the bag first, then i switch on the camera, then only i go into menu and do the following step that you mentioned. After switching off the camera i put my lens back and take a few shots to see whether it's help or not. And the answer is no  tongue.gif
*
Turn on live view then the sensor curtain will open
I will use blower to blow then sleep.gif

alpha_company you can refer to my flickr, I usually give details on what I used to take the photo of those figures. I usually use 50mm and 100mm. case by case.

KTCY want a session with my toys? http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/goldfries

Hai gais ! was thinking about the D7100, is the price worth it? and what about comparing it to the D7000, does it have much of a difference?

does the price difference makes D7100 a better bang for buck? or both of them are good at their price range and its okay to go for either one?

asking this on behalf of my friend =)

hope to get some idea on it.
*
I'd go for d7k and remaining moolah for better lens.
