17-55 and 17-50 different alot? if so the i think i will save up my budget and get a 17-55 2nd hand, but most people ask to go for 1750 wor, can save money for other things...
yea most prob gonna go FF bah... thats why thinking about buy the 17-50 or don buy, save for 24-70...

the 17-55 is defiantly worth to buy. even if you sell, if its in good condition the price wont dip too low. But I see from your signature, you already have so many primes. you sure you want a 2.8? From my experience those with many primes dont usually play zooms xD

hmm okay... i'll invest in it ba... i need it for events.. 35mm for streets, 85mm for portrait.. so far still trying to use 35mm for events lah... paksa paksa can loh, just group shot more than 6++ people left to right will be hard abit...

ya meh.. i been using my 1755 since 2009 ... still my go to lens during weddings.. yes used 24-70 also but.. not really effective on DX lor. 17-55 + 80-200 one body. Second body FX 35, 50, 85

well color different these days is compensate by photoChop so no probs. Normally Nikkor glass over priced and well over all the IQ is good la... but have you all tried the new sigma 35 f/1.4 Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh     

use what you have.. or kidnap a few lens from you best buddy ( a bad habit i always do)

so far so good...the only complain is it not able to support the total weight when i mount tamron 70-300 with either D600 or D7000. i try to tighten the plate very tight already, but then can see it slowly getting down when zoom to 300mm.

will changing the ballhead help? or just changing the plate with bigger contact area with the camera?

I realized after taking quite a few pics with the D600 + 35mm f2D combo that I have a hunger for a little more sharpness.

Feel like selling of the 35mm lens to get the 50mm 1.8G  and slowly save up for either the siggy/nikon 35mm f1.4

I feel bummed sometimes that I can't shoot at f2 ):
I think while I still really love the versatility of the 35mm focal length, I'm sacrificing quite abit by using the f2D lens.

To be honest, it's so NOISY at ISO 1000 ! 

I can get much cleaner images at ISO 1600 with my D7000. 

I hope they improved on the AF accuracy, I had horrible experience with the 50mm Sigma... made me use my 50mm f/1.8D even more reliable LOL!

Build looks good definitely, just the AF capability of the 35mm Sigma. Not the speed, but the consistency to nail the shot. Sensors like 36MP of D800 really demanding...

see lo, 85mm i use to blur lightings and all.. need to make sure the background colour nice.. bokeh only come out nice.. if colour plain then result also *meh* only... sometimes wan more of the background de i use 35mm... what lens u used for that? btw if UWA f2.8 the bokeh will be there bo?
i oso using D7000, normally u boost ISO to how much max? i normally max oso 1600 nia, if despo only 2k... but 1600 oso noise start coming out le.. 1200 there stil okay.
the sigma AF capability not good ah?    like that means its the IQ quality which makes it claim the first place among 35s in DxO?
