hi! need help here. I've tried 2 OTG cables with my Nexus7 and i can't get my thumbdrive read via both cables.
But the cable works with my S3.
My nexus7 is rooted and i'm using stickmount.

any idea why or how to fix it?

Want to know about battery performance, mine model 7c used about a month++ :
a. from battery 93% to 17% it can get :
- 21h 21m on battery and 4h 10m Screen Time On
- mostly using light game and browsing using mobile data + wifi

b. It takes 2h 42m to full charge from 17% to 100%

Is it normal because i'd read some forumer need 4 hours to full charge. Mind to share your battery performance .. ? Tq

How to register our nexus on Asus? I don't see any nexus model on the Asus registration page. Is it under PDA or eeepad family?

I have unlock bootloader & rooted my n7c. Then flash recovery touch 6.0.1.9.

Backup the stock rom with .tar format then rebooted after finished like I have done on my s2 & s3.

But when I go into explorer under the clockworkmode folder, there is no backup folder thus the backup .tar file.

Please advice if someone knows what I did wrong.

There are strong rumours that the new nexus 7 will be released in May, which will be announced during google's io event. Now i was really thinking of getting the N7 very soon but i might have to hold back a few more months due to this. Here's a snippet from the article :-



The bolded part is what made me hold off from getting the N7. Though it could all be rumors for now, i'm willing to wait a few more months to see.

I'm also going against that article and predicting that it might be slightly more expensive or for the $249 model to be a 16gb set. Though i hope that i am wrong and the price will remain the same. Time will tell

anybody can teach me how to set laptop as wifi hotspot for nexus 7....i know how to set ad hoc network ,but nexus 7 cant see the network..

Try connectify, android devices are having hard time detecting and connecting to ad hoc WiFi, connectify can set up wpa2 security WiFi and your nexus 7 will be able to detect it.

Nexus 7 is very fussy with otg cable. What works on other device may not work on n7. Try restart n7 & c whether it works. Otherwise u need to test the cables in the shop before buying. I m really lucky. My otg cable work on all my devices.

hi, i got a problem here. after i root my nexus7. i notice that my 3g is not functioning. i go to settings>wireless & networks > more > there is no mobile network setting.
