There are strong rumours that the new nexus 7 will be released in May, which will be announced during google's io event. Now i was really thinking of getting the N7 very soon but i might have to hold back a few more months due to this. Here's a snippet from the article :-
QUOTE DigiTimes, the Taiwanese supply chain website that journalists love to hate and news junkies love to read, has just published one hell of a juicy rumor. They say that Google is working with ASUS on the sequel to the Nexus 7 and that said device will be announced in May. It’s going to have a “Full HD display”, which we’re going to assume means 1920 x 1080, and it’s also going to be thinner and have smaller bezels. Best of all, this new model is going to be priced exactly the same as the old model, so you should expect to see prices ranging from $199 to $249. Read more :- http://www.androidauthority.com/digitimes-...-sequel-151548/ The bolded part is what made me hold off from getting the N7. Though it could all be rumors for now, i'm willing to wait a few more months to see. I'm also going against that article and predicting that it might be slightly more expensive or for the $249 model to be a 16gb set. Though i hope that i am wrong and the price will remain the same. Time will tell |

QUOTE(Narako @ Feb 19 2013, 09:52 AM) QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Feb 19 2013, 12:02 PM) Hmm, actually I plan to buy Nexus 7, but after reading the new Nexus 7 is coming out soon, I might hold my horses and wait. QUOTE(redlyfs @ Feb 19 2013, 12:27 PM) You might not have to wait long. Rumored to be announced in May. Assuming Newegg picks it up, we could get our hands on it Q3. I'm in the same boat as well. Really wanted to get the N7 but will tahan myself and wait for version 2 http://news.yahoo.com/google-next-gen-nexu...-163544667.html Hopefully newegg does indeed pick it up. If not we'll probably have to do bulk purchases. There's always a way though |

QUOTE(mscw88 @ Feb 19 2013, 03:01 PM) If i were u.......i will give it a shot now....... I can wait a few more months. If it was something like 6 months, i would probably get it now.The N7 v1 is almost a year old now anyways. At least when i get v2, i can enjoy the latest version for a year before v3 comes out |

QUOTE(chaukeng @ Feb 28 2013, 12:46 AM) Yup tested before and the result is the same. Btw if you realise Temple Run 2 on IOS doesn't have the settings for graphics. Which could mean they are confident that even the oldest IOS device won face lagginess running the game? Or probably because temple run was released on the ios first, thus being "more" optimized for it. Probably android's version is just a port |
