guys any alternative screen repairer ?mine is 32gb cellular so...

Mine can only boot into custom recovery n cannot even with hard buttons to fastboot mode.
The Asus staff straightaway knows I have unlock bootloader n install custom recovery.
Yet they accept n replace motherboard FOC. But than the tech screwed up replacing it n instead gave me a free replacement unit ( sealed). My set from Google USA n I sent in to Skudai Johor service center

Asphalt 8 lags on my Nexus 7 2012 device. Damn....another unoptimised game by Gameloft. Luckily my iPad Mini one no lag and smooth graphics

Nope, not fanboy. Some games run pretty smooth and beautiful on the Nexus, while iPad Mini seems to run games at lower resolution.

But for Asphalt 8, iPad Mini runs without any lag....my Nexus lags even on the low medium settings haha

It runs super smooth on Nexus 7 2013, in the Google Event last month, this game was demoed on Nexus 7 2013 and no lag whatsoever even on high graphics setting.

so Gameloft games are really optimised well for the ipad

whereas Tegra 3 on Nexus 2012 suffers like damn

Go for it. The screen is really sharp and the dual speakers are also very loud even though the volume control bar is < 50%. Definitely a worth-buying device.

android is based on bytecode java (java slow to me) and ios native code. maybe thats why it slow, i think so.

in other word, you need to throw more CPU horsepower at a java/android app for it to run as well as a ios.

Asphalt 8 will drop frame rates on Nexus 7 2013 on highest settings. U will notice the frame rates different on Medium and highest. Maybe the highest only run at 25-30fps.Medium got 55~60.

I was thinking the new Nexus 7 2013 can run Highest settings on 50 - 60 fps lol

But still playable at 30fps.

nakasig jwr66y image from google sucks big time. The bootloader and recovery image is not same as jwr66v thus invalidstate / signature mismatch for bootloader flashing and the baseband won't install correctly.

To make thing worst, google removed jwr66v from their site. Anyone wanted to flash jwr66y downloaded from google site, better get the jwr66v bootloader, radio and stock recovery image ready and flash those separately. Then flash only jwr66y rom image. OTA not affected.

Duh! wasted my time totally to get this works.

Maybe he is right, Asphalt need more optimization. Maybe future update will fix that?
