wtf is all those thing abt me ? biggrin.gif

Oriental Village is where the cable car station is, as well as the Geopark hotel. the village itself hav nothing much to see actually. juz some shops n restaurants there, n some scene for u to take photo.

oh btw there's a 'Dang Wangi' with KL postcode roadsign there. i wonder whose idea it is to put it there. biggrin.gif

Well, the cable car is actually at the Oriental Village lo biggrin.gif Good view!!!! Cable car is a must la cause if the day you go langkawi is very good weather, you can have wonderful view of the whole pulau langkawi. Besides that, there's a hanging bridge there too whereby you can take nice pictures.

Hi everyone, i've been reading all the post here n gain lots of info and its really useful. i already planned to backpacking in langkawi quite sometime and lastly had made a decision to go next week for 3D2N. these are some of my questions n hopefully u guys can give me some feedback.
1. i planned to stay in Zackry Guest House in pantai tengah cos its cheaper than any other hotels, around rm25/night. anyone heard of this guest house? any opinion?
2. is the ferry terminal in kuala perlis near to the bus station? or there is a walking distance?
3. my budget is around rm400 including transportation-bus+ferry+rent a car-rm140, accom. rm50(rm25/nite), spending on meal- agak2 rm50, activities such as cable car+visiting some hot spots-rm60 and lastly shopping-rm 100. all round up to rm400. does it sounds reasonable?

thx for advising! notworthy.gif

RM400 for 1 person?

Then it sounds okay for me.

For my case, I need atleast RM 800 - RM1,000 for 2 person, 3D2N trip.

I think I saw the "guesthouse" b4 Somewhere on the hillslope opposite Holiday Villa..& beside Cactus Restaurant (Recomended restaurant thumbup.gif )...For me its looks like a shabby or setinggan style kg hse, rather small & saw few mat Salleh there....it's more towards backpacker style whereby u share the whole floor wth othe guest male & female...& share same batroom....Not for me..... biggrin.gif BTW...no beach as it is in front of Pantai Tenagh road & blocked by Holiday Villa ..U dun even can get thru the Holiday villa private beach.
