I think worst come to worst you can grab accommodation easily outside of langkawi Jetty area from agent. There are some agents giving out good offer around that area. Not sure about others, but that's what I did last time smile.gif

Yes most of the peak period rooms hv been pre-booked by agents, if u can't get it direct or online..for sure those agents at airport 7 jetty can find it for you..haha

Last time I use to go there directly and get the room from those jetty agent. No problem at all even CNY and hari raya.

But peak period you still can get a room if you search the net more. This year, I just book the room 2 weeks before CNY. With a normal rate too include car.

dats the problem during super peak..i fact i have gone thru the hassle securing my booking on koh lipe... now here for langkawi..at the moment awaiting reply fr nadias inn..keeping my finger cross...

Dear all LYN forumer...

i need your help seriously.. i'm planning for a trip to langkawi next year January.. it will be low season.. i browsed thru the thread and there're so so so so so many hotels and i feel so dizzy to check 1 by 1..

could anyone enlighten me by narrow down my scope to search for hotels... my budget is around 250 for 3 days 2 night... might add on another day too..

pls provide me roughly 3 to 4 common hotels that you ppl went or heard b4.. cuz this is my first time to langkawi and i have no idea at all...

really appreciate it... tqtq..!

Hi guys,

Going to Langkawi this 15-17th Nov. Should be low season rite?
Peak season started 21st onwards rite?

Hotel staying at Awana Porto but car still no idea. Need a 7 seater for 5 adults and 2 kids. Can really get the cars from the airport ah?

yeah when I free...NVM, I got clearance loong time from the boss here can exceed 2500 in T&L but no so long....not only langkawi, Hong Kong & few more...probably I will or you start a new one rather than cleaning...very tedious process...

Agree with Putraskyline. Try Malibest, they have about 4-5 units of treetop chalets, try to get that because it's built on the beach itself and since it's a treetop chalet, the balcony overlooks the ocean!! Only downside is that, the treetop units are always booked. It's in Pantai Cenang btw.

actually if you don't wish to stay beside beach, awana is quite good choice
