Will be going there next month.. and planning to stay at Langkasuka Beach Resort, anyone here stayed there before? What's your comment? And how much to rent a auto Sentra? Budget < Rm80. Also, what about the Mangrove tour? Is it worth the Rm140? Thanks.

Mangrove tour i didnt have enough time to go , but i would suggest you to head straight to Tanjung Rhu beach, theres some good deal on mangrove tour...around rm180/boat i was quoted.. other places you should consider : Pulau Payar rm150, island hopping rm35, galeria perdana.. Hope it helps, langkawi is a really good place to relax.. |

The room is better than most of the langkawi hotel. The mangrove tour worth to try. I myself go for 2x liau. Go and try and let us know. |

How much you paid for it? |

QUOTE(Zestful Shoppe @ Jun 11 2009, 09:16 PM) is island hoping worth it? Yeah island hopping is worth it considering its only RM35... no meals, approx 4 hours trip, trip incls Pulau dayang bunting, beras basah beach, and eagle feeding..why not?where do they take us and is it RM35 including meals and boat transfer? going thr next wk for 4nights not so sure what to do besides drinking cheap beer hahah. plan to go to Telaga Tujuh and dataran helang, and pasar mlm(one of the websites says its good for foodies) where to go to buy cheap duty free bottles? Pulau Payar is good, able to see some coral reefs, baby sharks...fish feeding...price is around RM150 incl 1 meal, and snorkeling equipment. you can visit Galeri Perdana too to see our former prime minister's collection if you have some free time. as for a good breakfast, I suggest Cenang Boat Quay, nice scenery, good food...location is nearby the go-kart. |

I'm going to Langkawi on 26/06/09 until 01/07/09. Totally 6 days and 5 nite there. Planning to stay around Cenang Beach for its sea n sunset. Currently my option was to stay at either Malibest, Sandy beach, Best Start resort, AB motel and Beach Garden resort.
In some of ur experience, is it wise to stay let say 2 days in one hotel or move to others next hotel since they are next to each other only to get the best rate? This post has been edited by danielwan: Jun 14 2009, 12:49 AM |
