QUOTE(stimix @ May 27 2009, 07:24 AM) End Jul till Sept are the worst mths visiting Langkawi..High wave man..lotsa ferry accident happened during this time.. Wah! Thanks for the info, although I guess it might be slightly more rain during that time coz some hotels do have promotion. Hopefully can still go and feed the eagles or something.

Raining is not a problem but the gigh wave from Andaman sea is horrible.. just imagine high wave higher than coconut tree hitting your ferry or spped boat...I really can't forget the dying experience travelling from Phuket to phi-phi island long time ago during end of jul period. ive a question too. ive checked out the websites given but there is very little on Nadias Inn Pantai Cenang. How is that place? Is it worth the money?
Alot of websites claim this and that but some reviews claim otherwise.
Any ideas on where to go for budget hotel?(rm100 - 150/night for twinsharing) More importantly, is it enough if i just stay in cenang , to enjoy the bars/nightlife, shopping and stuff to do?
Would like to hear from locals and anyone who have been there very recently.
Thanks so much!

Yeah, I got my 200ml CK One 2 yrs ago at the Aquarium shop..Cocoa Valley Duty Free...Was given ~20% from the retail price of ~RM218...Got it for RM175. When I reached KL..I was shocked to find CK one was retailing at RM218 also...but no discount...haizzz... Recently during Metrojaya Warehouse sales at Shah Alam stadium...my brudder got for me the same CK one for RM120!! A quick question here. Anyone know whether there's a beach/seaside at Berjaya Langkawi ? If yes, how is it compare with Cenang beach ? Thanks.

What say you from this Berjaya Langkawi images..: Compare to Cenang Berjaya =secluded, quiet & clearer water. Cenang= happening, noisy & water so-so only QUOTE(hcloh @ Jun 5 2009, 05:24 PM) Hi all, A quick question here. Anyone know whether there's a beach/seaside at Berjaya Langkawi ? From the 2nd photo, the beach look like a distance from the Berjaya hotel. Anyone can tell me is it walking distance. eg: like in Langkasuka Hotel or the 3rd photo.
Thanks.

The 3rd photo probably taken from Pelangi resort at the starting point of Pantai Cenang. Water is clean but not clear here..Water surrounding the airport area and Langkasuka is muddy..probably worst than PD!
