Anyone fitted paddle shifts on their 1.8? [/quote/] do they any good? i seldom use the shift tronic since i can't shift early(below 2k rpm). its not like dsg gearbox...can shift early to save fuel...my opinion the paddle shift might not be useful. just think bout it. i use to drive polo tsi...and i seldom use the + -. coz if i use it will effect fuel consumption, and if u rev it yes the shift response is quick and smooth. but since have 7 speed shift between gears is short so you won't get the sensation during revving...as tsi not like NA u can tarik all way to 10,000 rpm like my old car.. |

QUOTE(wei @ May 1 2013, 07:07 AM) If your car engine can't survive that, there's something very wrong with it. oh maybe i heard it wrong...20k km in that case, right?oh yes the manual...will check it...thank u...About the service 10k is not major. You can check your manual for service guideline. I think mine was less than RM100 minus oil. |

QUOTE(666devil @ May 12 2013, 08:39 AM) Yes I changed from current time altis 1.8 to elantra 1.8. Current T&H quality are crappy now. 2!!!! If u get mazda 3,it's old platform and sky active is coming put end of year. Spacious definitely go to elantra. FC is same between elantra and mazda 3-I compared with my friend's mazda 3. Driving and control wise definitely mazda better. It comes with 2 smart keys so backup is there. Yes many discount given in kl especially 1.8. PM me if u are in kl Reverse cam very good at night time thanks to reverse light. Changed to elantra for 1 year now and never looked back. In fact i got 2 elantra when see red elantra damn sexy damn sportier than white! so thinking buying new elantra go for red or blue...u would not regret it... |

QUOTE(stevenycs @ May 21 2013, 10:41 AM) You can get from Kakimotor for both of those stuff or if u wanna get it install for u can get from EA Autoworks too. that what i hate the most....imitation products....really hard to find the original ones...but some people say that if u go to sunway N1 Racing u can be sure of its original products...Price for the filter around 210 and above while the plugs around 180 and above. But do take note if you get from workshop definitely they charge higher for labor. And beware a lot of imitation K&N and Iridium outside i myself bought iridium spark plug ngk there for my honda b18c (previous car). b4 this i bought sparks plug at kakimotor and my car feels the same as before...so after 3 months of patient and got the enough money i straight to N1 Racing to get new one. and there was a difference in power output esspecially at higher revs. (that time my honda rev at 10k rpm!) so my conclusion there are imitation spark plugs...and the price is more a less...that really hurts your wallet....the con one it can start ur car but it will not performs as it ment to... between denso and ngk feel more power from ngk...denso same plug...or maybe i was testing the con denso plug?maybe? but what i read in forums ngk better then denso... |
