QUOTE(butthead @ Feb 21 2013, 04:45 PM) be careful next time... even if you have all weather tires... aquaplaning still happens.. and it is not like a car where you might have a chance to regain control... bike tires are too small to be affected by aquaplaningmrjgx, read this http://www.cyclingtips.com.au/2011/02/the-...-bike-handling/ This post has been edited by miaopurr: Feb 21 2013, 04:51 PM |

QUOTE(butthead @ Feb 21 2013, 04:52 PM) aquaplaning happens to everything lar... the difference is that once a bike tire loses grip... it lets go immediately in an un-recoverable fashion...while a car aquaplanes and it still stays upright and have a better chance to recover... dunno la about that. coz i read an article on aquaplaning in superbikes written by a science geekin theory, the bigger the surface.. the easier it is to float across standing water... but it happens to skinny tires too... this you have to trust me...for some reasons... small surface tyres lose grip not because of aquaplane. instead, because the friction is less due to wet surface. QUOTE(mrjgx @ Feb 21 2013, 05:00 PM) Not frame twitchy. I mean the handling is twitchy. Comes what may, i will visit ghs this march, and everything will be decided put aside rm350, get a professional bike fit. unless u can persuade GH to include BGFit for free! or u can get those GH guys to give a normal bike fit (free). they use proper tools too. good stuff! QUOTE(ctan6611 @ Feb 21 2013, 06:45 PM) I just called them at 03 77223666, not yet check out at their shop. May I know where is the avanti shop you refer to, is it the one at TTDI plaza? u didn't say u were looking for H3 specifically. u just said HED. last time i went there, they had a pair of HED stinger 6 FR. they said, they can order specific models if u ask them. that was what they told me anyway.I am looking for 3 spokes aero wheels, so far only found HED H3, any other recommendations if cannot find this in Malaysia? |
