Today usage... With wifi and 3g on most of the time. Last two hour without wifi and 3g only

Maxis user here. Encountered this problem since i updated to IOS 6.1. Like all of you, have to restart my i5 in order to get 3G back.

my iphone 5 having this problem too, when the connection drop from 3G to E, it wont change back to 3G, i have to switch on off airplane mode to bring back the 3G.
btw im using celcom broadband sim card only, cannot make call. |

3G problem here also on maxis! Have to restart to get back the 3G signal. My frens who are on maxis + i5 all encounter the same problem. =.=''

after a few days waiting, now im still stucked on edge... i did set the carrier to manual but that was just temporary.. and also, i changed back to auto and it bcomes edge... but after a few hours, it somehow bcomes 3g.... then i off then on data cellular again and it stucked wiv edge.. may i know what are u guys speed test for data cellular?

My problem is when i enter a no service area, then i won't get cellular data at all after exiting that area. Solution so far is to reset network settings. Annoying issue.

my iphone4 battery life is being battered. really crappy. can see the % goin down like water. and this is without JB.
i feel iOS6.1 is too heavy for the ip4. idle RAM almost 20mb only. time to change phone. |

After upgrade, my iPhone 4s lasts 5 hrs 30 mins (usage) & 20 hrs (standby) with wifi and 3G on all the time.
I guess it is good. Charge once per day.  |

just to update as for today morning
3G connection looking good today for MAXIS . yesterday after work around 630pm i restart my iphone5 and the 3G is back and strong. tried to change my CARRIER settings from manual to auto and also auto to manual. both ways would bring out my 3G signal without any problem. As today so far so good. will update again if there is any problem with the 3G carrier. |
