iOS 6.1.x Software Update, better battery life?

Maxis CS at klcc, Partly they blame iOS say that the updates mostly for LTE telco. But they still change my nano sim and tell me it shouldn't have much problem already after this. He also told me that maxis is upgrading their service so sometimes will not have 3G signal

I'm using Umobile nano sim and after the software upgrade, my 3G signal is still there and will switch to Edge some times. But when I go to another location, the signal will switch to 3G if available. So no problems on my side.
Could it be carrier-related? |

Im using umobile.. After updating seems like all no problem with my i5 and mini
Im not reseting my network at all.. My 3G still there after updating to 6.1 My batt also now become more good then b4 |

Yes or.... Some of guys here not change the nano sim card and use the old sim to cut and fit to i5

That could be another possibility. Perhaps those with problem should state whether they're using new nano sim or cut from old micro/normal sim card.

Actually, how to say good maintain the battery life??? so that the battery performance goods..... I get the cut nano from micro sim card.... so far, it was ok but battery life drain too fast....

I got 2 iphone 5. 1 unit is having this problem the other one is ok.
Bought 2 online same time. Same setting and firmware. Very wired. |

Bro, how u solved the problem. Having same issue here after updating to iOS 6.1 the Maxis version is 14.0. Stuck on E cnt get 3G back
