As for seller... if you are around JB try CLS in KSL City. You can find them on facebook and send them a message to check if they have the body you want.

I think I spent around 2.5k on the K-5 end of last year... around November. I remember Pentax2u was more expensive. And yes, discontinued.

Still no 10-24 on offer... but a self-made nodal point adapter for around RM 300. Would serve the same purpose and be even more flexible (can do 360 panoramas ), but not as much fun. Typically these are at least 600-900...

They have almost all pentax, canikon, oly sony.
So easy to test and compare.

I try selling in the forum and manage to sell 1 lens, Vivitar 105mm macro lens and a tripod but the camera and all the accessories are slow. So if there a reseller willing to trade in all my gear, I will be very happy. I not from JB or going to JB anytime. So I prefer reseller in KL or PJ. Thanks for you help.

didnt get chance to test k5s/k52s focusing...so dont know how is it compare with k5.

Depending on price but if it's not much of difference and the price is okay, then the K-5 IIs is a better buy. More decisive lock-on for focus and less hunting on low light.

Anyone here got 18-35 F/1.8 from Sigma already? Review seems very good and our Pentax has the "extra" for having SR built in.

Pentax2u has it currently listed for RM 2,599. I think you can negotiate further with the webmaster.

For US pricing, have to wait until black Friday. Currently Adorama selling USD 800 for that lens. Also around the same price as Pentax2u. Note that P2u has 2.5 years warranty compared to US set which is virtually zero.

yes.i definitely think we got a better deal.price is more or less the same but with local warranty, more worth it to buy it here.

You can try go to Plaza Pudu, Look for Desmond of YL Camera. They buy 2nd hand cameras. I am not too sure if the pricing is competitive though.
