If you can afford an outside space, this is the best in my opinion;

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

For indoor, please don't use typical aquarium. Its too tall and it will create a poor ventilation. Plus the transparent glass might cause your tortoise to be restless by constant effort to try to get out from the glass - to explore the outside world.

Some exotic pet shop able to handle a custom request for tortoise cage. My suggestion is that you try to do some research yourself by simply Googling the "tortoise enclosure" etc and save several pictures on your phone or tablet and try discussing to your local carpenter if they can handle the custom request.

If the local carpenter able to handle your request, just make sure to remind them to cover the wood/playwood etc with a coating so it won't be moist and causing a fungi on the wood itself.

The enclosure is not mine, just taken from Internet for example.

Not sure when is the next season sweat.gif

It depend on your aim.

Baby : Start from basic, will be your lifelong companion, better bonding (I guess?).

Adult : Less hassle to take care, can rebreeding in much shorter period than baby.

As long as both healthy it won't be too much problem.

Just make sure the size is comparable, afraid of bullying lol.

I am happy to hear others' opinion on this matter as well too.

I don't think people willing to let anyone "borrow" their Star tortoise sweat.gif

You might want to prepare some extra budget to buy instead.

Hi everyone.... im a new turtle owner here. Got myself 2 small Taiwan long tail turtle and 1 albino softshell turtle. The 2 small long tail I bought few weeks ago and they been doing ok, then yesterday saw this strange looking white little fella and I just love it. Any experience ppl here can teach me how to take care of this albino? Is my tank setup ok for them? I been trying to google more infos on the turtle, but would really appreciate if anyone can identify the albino is a male or female. Im currently using a 2.5feet tank, will that sufficient for them? Im currently feeding the albino with the turtle pellet I giving the other Taiwan guy, is that ok? the pet shop ask me to get the blood worm, but my wife gonna kill me if I put the worms in her fridge lol.

Nice but , please do not mix them together , size different is too great !!

The albino softshell ( aggressive type ) will start with the long tail and the whole next !!
