QUOTE(xsaintx @ Dec 2 2014, 03:19 AM) [attachmentid=4241256] [attachmentid=4241258] Can you see how the front part of the plastron is bulging out and not flat? Is this normal? He kinda rocks left right when placed on flat surface.. May I have another view of the plastron itself ! And is the bulging part soft to press ? If it is still eating good I won't worry that much ! Cheers

Thanks , I have downsized since my heyday of working with too many sp !! Now I concentrate on fewer for breeding ! Cheers

QUOTE(emefze @ Feb 14 2015, 08:43 PM) hi i wanted to know if these are a disease (shell rot) or just plain shedding, tried google, but so many contradicting pictures, had them for 3 months and their shell build up to this about a couple of weeks ago. its almost translucent where you can see another form of shell underneath. i have a dry dock and an exo terra daylight basking spot, and they are next to an open window daily so they get their sun pretty much the whole day. i have 4 of them but one wont sit still but its more or less the same as no 2. thank you for your time! [attachmentid=4342517] [attachmentid=4342518] [attachmentid=4342519] Yes , it is a form of shell rot .

QUOTE(XverfluX @ Apr 17 2015, 04:18 PM) I am looking for a solution for a bigger terrarium for my pair of red-footed tortoises. I have been buying my stuff from exoreptiles. Any other shops around Klang Valley I can shop? Probably looking to get a bigger terrarium and maybe some solution to increase humidity. Any recommendations? Depending on size ( for fear of predation ) let them roam in the garden . [attachmentid=4417986]

QUOTE(nazrul90 @ May 22 2015, 05:33 PM) guys need help currently my turtle(the mini one that usually sell at pet shop) seem like sleeping for a long time is this what they call as hibernation? or is my turtle sick? the eyes dont open but it does move around with both eyes closed, sometimes eat less because of eyes closed Its should be sick , turtle this size dont hibernate . Less active usually either sick or environment too cold - Add a basking light or a water heater to keep water warm . But turtle thats still small usually dont have long to turn things around .

Sorry on the late reply , being very busy on year end .
I was thinking its an Asian leaf turtle and not Spiny hill turtle .
The pictures you posted are not that clear this i am still not 100% of which sp it belongs to .
