Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

IMHO costs of car maintenance (even those regular chks & fluid replacements ) hv skyrocketed in lieu of Msia's move towards a so-called "Developed Nation" status...  rclxub.gif
So like in those oledi Developed Nations, we shld also move towards self-reliance & self-care of our important possessions eg house & car(s)... thumbup.gif

That move simply means DIY-ing all those regular maintenance tasks!
Saves time @wkshops & $$$ which cld b put 2more worthwhile items...  tongue.gif
So how abt taking that FIRST step?

That move wld also push all those in wkshops 2buck up in their attitude & Q of workmanship or else no one wld go 4their services, being worse than the owner can do himself. True?

Note : Juz look @the huge no. of DIY mags published, bought & sold in all those Developed Nations!!  icon_rolleyes.gif

as what i've read, so called "Developed Nation" services is expensive compared to what we have in "Developing Nation".
that's why people over there try to do it by themselves.. materials also might be cheap over there?

jz my 2 cents.. smile.gif

+1

for example the US, its not the parts that are expensive, its the labour charges, thats why many opt to DIY

Hi Bros... notworthy.gif

Me kno...we're NOT there (Developed Nation) yet.... whistling.gif
However, we're moving in THAT direction....slowly but surely...correct?
Govt plans?
By 2020?
In 7 years...?
Time flies, right? sweat.gif

Juz observe how cost of living, misc items, maintenance charges, etc... etc... are all going UP & UP...?
Skilled workers/others wld find their living expenses spiralling upwards....
They'll need 2increase their income (labour charges) to survive...to provide for their dependents....
Consequently if one depends on them for all our needs, one wld hv 2pay wat they ask 4their services!
Can yu afford...when that time comes? rolleyes.gif

Best 2b prepared.... tongue.gif

Hi Bro YAB David.... notworthy.gif

Kinda feel this info (from a post in V thread) sort of explains why yr Sawwy FC improved so much cos of EO leak in2 combustion chambers...

This guy is experimenting with adding 2T motorbike oil to each tankful of petrol....eg 2ml of 2T to 1 Litre petrol... rolleyes.gif
AND he claims his FC has improved alot!!

Of course, he din mention the consequences of such an addition...eg possiblity of carbon-fouled spark plugs (need 2clean/change more often), carbon deposits in combustion chambers & related parts... sweat.gif
All who hv owned/used those 2T mixed fuel bikes eg Vespa, Lambretta, Suzuki, shld kno... brows.gif

ALL Bros interested in improving FC

If improving FC is yr PRIMARY concern abt yr ride, that's one way 2go abt it... thumbup.gif
Wanna give it a try? cheers.gif
