Boss, go check the sensor nearby handbrake or the cables(dunno using cables or not), using my experienced on my previous car. The foreman setting back the cables and sensor ok liao.

Unless the brake indicator still light up after u release it, but then you can feel ur car so "berat" mean handbrake still on but lever goes down. Need to check ur handbrake liao.

send to SC ler. but sent to SC 3-4 times you should push them to fix it, wasting ur time for 3-4 times go to SC for this matter.

Too bad everytime i dismantle center console i din snap photo. Last Saturday i just dismantle my center console completely (including cup holder and handbrake console) search for rattling noise, the handbrake 'sensor' is just a simple mechanical spring switch, which similar to those door switch, i think for SC is a easy fix only. If that SC like that also can't solve just tell them go to hell and never go back.

1) Check whether brake fluid sensor got connect.if not connect, brake warning will lite anytime

2) As coolkwc suggested, the pintu tandas type of spring switch can be adjust

3) Which is my case, hub brake released too much. The cable too loose touches the switch. I need to adjust the cable instead of the swis tandas

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

IMHO costs of car maintenance (even those regular chks & fluid replacements ) hv skyrocketed in lieu of Msia's move towards a so-called "Developed Nation" status... rclxub.gif
So like in those oledi Developed Nations, we shld also move towards self-reliance & self-care of our important possessions eg house & car(s)... thumbup.gif

That move simply means DIY-ing all those regular maintenance tasks!
Saves time @wkshops & $$$ which cld b put 2more worthwhile items... tongue.gif
So how abt taking that FIRST step?

That move wld also push all those in wkshops 2buck up in their attitude & Q of workmanship or else no one wld go 4their services, being worse than the owner can do himself. True?

Note : Juz look @the huge no. of DIY mags published, bought & sold in all those Developed Nations!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Sometimes the warning lights on and sometimes it off.

The scenario is like this: If I drive my car in the morning, the warning lights is usually off. But on lunch break, the warning lights is on and went back home from work warning light is still on. Next day in the morning, warning lights off pulak. its like it keeps repeating the same thing everyday. Dunno what exactly the problem here.

In the afternoon, if u release your handbrake fully, if you push it further down with your hand, will the light goes off? If yes, same case like mine. Need to adjust brake cable by taking off the center console. Be remind after adjust brake cable, u may need to retune your rear drum brake, or it could be too loose. Later cum back find your car sudah masok longkang doh.gif
