Quite confem today, after yesterday night took out the "accidental ground cable", I can notice the throttle lag is obvious again. The subwoofer is "burping" again, as aircon kicks in, RPM will drop until the car felt like shutting off sleep.gif Next project is definitely Ground Cable!!! yawn.gif I knew some will say its not related, I oso can't explain it as previously ayam as well disbelief GC & VS will effect engine performance. Ayam impressed by the butt dyno and willing to let people call me an ignorant, but I know what I want for my butt. flex.gif

Next TT show us where the accidental GC route. My Persona throttle lag can be felt at traffic light too. Wheelspin at WOT is not so good, I want smooth fast acceleration.

Hi Bro YAB... notworthy.gif

GCs definitely is effective for esp say 5yr+ cars...

Proven VERY clearly when VS & all GCs were removed fr my ole gen Saga (20+ yrs old) b4 pickup by new "buyer"! Engine shook so badly that driver commented out loud!!
NB. Engine was running smoothly on test juz the day b4 sales... tongue.gif

Even for present <2yr old Gaga, me cld feel/hear diff in audio of stock HU & spks...with both VS & GCs.  thumbup.gif

ps. A GC fr neg Batt3 terminal to cyl head is 1 main effective connection.  thumbup.gif

Ok Ok! Here's the detail sleep.gif It was a super silly mistake. I was wondering how does it look like if I hook up LEDs on the hood, so I used my jump start cable directly connect from battery, pull the jump start cable all the way to the hinge, use duct tape hang both cables(+ve & -ve), and the cable clamps on the super bright LED H3 bulbs. After the soft test run, immediately I unhook the positive cable, meanwhile I clamp the negative cable on the lifter hook(near by purge valve on AFM, got 1 engine hook for lifting up engine), plan to keep my positive cable first only come back and clear up the mess. Mana tau, kept the positive cable, come back immediately forgot the negative cable and busy pulling off duct tapes blush.gif After that been left the cable clamp on the engine hook whole day until night time sweat.gif

Seriusly, I don't really care huat is in the cable. I know welding cable is 300a onwards, and the kedai logam tauke did suggested to use those welding cable to make jump start cable. However, the jump start cable that I accidentally grounded was cap ayam RM9.90 icon_idea.gif

I, most probably is gonna get the 500a welding cable & stuff it on my engine hook whistling.gif Trouble is, the lug will be too huge, need to find a way to tie it up sweat.gif

Matt black is consider SOLID paint category. Applying clearcoat BEFORE matt black wld mean easy to chip off when hitting sand stone, unless u use corse ground sanding before applying matt black. Let's just say the matt black bond very well with your clear coat, does not mean the clear coat wouldn't fall off. Korek way to effectively apply mat black is, wet sand the original surface thoroughly, make sure its very clean. Apply SEVERAL thin layer of matt black to ensure its thick enough & bond well.otherwise a month or 2 later u will be squating down patching white dots with marker pen liao whistling.gif

I got read ur post, that's why I say why still clearcoat? Its not required to have that if sanding is being done properly. U will need multiple layer of matt black to make sure its thcik enuf & that's all.

Yes korek. Too long I even more worried, later tiao taio feng.

Tats why I said ROUGH ESTIMATION. I will work around my budget, eyeing between 200-500amps cable as long as within budget. However, if all that doesn't work out, might as well buy another set of jump start cable, split with kenjilew we take 1 cable each whistling.gif Got clamp sumore icon_idea.gif

Recently quite a lot of TT happened ady. This weekend we're eyeing on Bukit Jalil Merz - AGAIN another car wash TT.

195/50R15 is fine for most 15" rims. However not recommended 195/55R15, could have sagat issue.
