Light up -seriously safer? My 1st in owning contis btw. So I guess no suprise for regulars huh.

this kind of bolt will be more "tide" compared with those bolt which is fixed on knuckle, reduce the risk of the your wheel flying off from your car.. erm.. that's what according to the experienced foreman..

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Mar 29 2013, 10:37 PM)
I just sent mine for alignment balancing this morning, also found that the nut and bolt are in one piece. But the tiremen seems experience enough for the task. It would be a hardwork for me If I change myself.
*
yes, watching the experienced foreman do the job looks really easy, but the foreman also said, if u change tire in dark place, u will be having difficulties of "finding the holes"..

Hi guys. Thank you for sharing your experience. I just got my loan approved 2 days ago and will be settling dp next week. I can see mostly are good experience and some got problems, but i believe can be solved and mostly its already been solved. To be honest it really worries me knowing ahui's and matsu's ordeal. This is my first conti makes (although manuf in china assemble in gurun) being a loyal toyota & nissan user, i must keep in mind that this is the cost of owning contis. Looking forward getting my pug. My sa said it takes 2 weeks for the car to be ready. Is it true? So long la. cannot tahan la wei. Hehhe. Sorry for the long post. Have a nice weekend guys. Cheers!

I drove my pug till the fuel warning came up. It said "fuel levels extremely low". The indicator at red but it said could still do another 50 km.

Pulled into a petrol station.  The full tank was only 51 litres, then auto stop. Poured in a bit more but didnt exceed 51 litres. Isnt the full tank 60 litres?

Anyone with same problem?
*
same here, the warning comes too early

I don't know whether this is a good news or bad news for me cause I yet to collect my car. I got the news yesterday and still thinking whether want to stick with the current RM8k overtrade or the RM3k overtrade + 5years warranty+ 5years free service.
What is your thoughts my pugs brothers?
*
if i were u, i'll take the later one, u pay a little bit more for the installment, but u don't need to prepare cash for servicing, especially during 60k major service which cost a bomb

everytime after i wash my car, i'll open all doors while cleaning the interior and it take some times, and when i turn on my car, it shows ECONOMIC MODE activated, and i think it's a sign of battery going flat

i'm actually pushing the battery to the limit by letting the light in AUTO position, enable the GUIDE ME HOME light, switch all interior light to DOOR mode, and i'll see how long the original battery can hold

Nothing beat VW SC, I mean its poor spare part waiting period And overall quality, they simply can't handle German vehicle. So far PEOGUET is good in improving its car, mayb they should come out more variant turbo engine, its 1.6 shared by most of the model. Even DS4 and DS5
*
the good thing of having the prince 1.6, turbo or not, fitted on most of the models is we as an owner will be having better spare parts availability

Hi guys, im newbie Jenson right here, mind to tell me whether it's good suggestion to install 9LED Car LED Daytime Running Light DRL 12V DC Fog Light front side bumper on my new 408?
My concern should focus on ignition fuse point of its current supply. Meanwhile will this causes any electronics warranty worries? Thanks for help! Cheers! ;-)
*
hi, congrates and welcome aboard smile.gif

friendly advice, do not modify any wiring or electrical component, last time i want to convert HID, then i was told by my sa it would certainly void my 5 years warranty

my sis honda civic turn 3 years old this year, and it is running on the 3rd battery already

the good thing is the battery on my sis civic shows symptoms before KO, but the strange thing is the KO-ed battery from my sis civic works ok on my old wira, and i'm still using it on my old wira now

so i guess nowadays battery's lifespan is only about 1 year on a modern car, since modern car is having so much electronic devices

QUOTE(imifun @ Jun 20 2013, 11:56 AM)
Anyway, I asked the confused looking SA about the continental tires they have, it will cost RM1K plus each... that expensive? or the SA is confused about the price too???

I asked a tire shop in klang (215/50/R17) and they have the followings

1. Michelin Primacy 3 ST = RM530
2. Toyo = RM448
3. Falken dont know what model can get around RM270

Continental and bridgestone... no stock

You guys looked around for tires already? mine already botak...
*
obviously the confused looking SA is really confused

conti mc5 is relatively cheaper than michelin

primacy 3st is a newly launched tire, sounds a bit pricy to me

Recorded 7.5L/100KM with cruise setting at 109kmh rotary 2800rpm persistently. Lovely 2.0 NA achieved 14.06cents/KM only!
Guys, have u experience such saving? ... lol...xD
*

talking about weird noise, my 1.6t is having,

"tik" or "tak" sound from the dashboard, when the road is bumpy
"glu.... glu...." sound from the engine (i'm guessing it the Turbo thing said by Phang123)
"duk duk" sound when turning steering

somemore i found out some nut & link at the front part of undercarriage have rusted
