Can I change the tyre into 215 / 50 / 17 ?
I think the ori 45 series is just too thin for malaysia road,

the sidewall of 45 series is 5mm thinner compare to 50 series

The ride will be harsher with thinner tyres, but it'll have a bit hetter handling. The thinner tyre's sidewall will not sway as much as the thicker sidewall, thus u'll have more control, but sacrifice on comfort.

Entering a pothole on malaysian roads with a thinner tyre will absolutely be harder than with a thicker tyre. Plus it can damage the rims.

Reason given they cant do bcoz do not hv the equipment...and yes it is peugeot newest blue box...

Seriously? Damn! I was thinking of getting the 408T already. I guess I need to think twice now, how come Peugeot do not have balancing and alignment equipments in their blue box?

Can sifu advise a good tyre shop around subang jaya? Think need to do the alignment since at certain speed, got humming sound coming from front right tyre.

As I mentioned earlier, I was pretty surprise when I got to know about this and plus my current car manufacture SC has everything under one roof. So for all sudden it triggered my sense of comparison but of course just like what you said, It is just a small issue.

Hmm.. not quite sure, i get my 408 from a dealer rather then branch, they say can just go to complain at their shop if any issue, they will help, not sure how true is it.

Hi guys,

I've just returned from overseas after a few years away. Am keen to get a car that would stay with me and give me many days of happy driving. I've tested quite few cars in both C and D segments. at the end of the day, what caught my attention most, particularly from a driving, handling perspective was the 408T.

I'm just one step short of putting down my booking.

there are a few bug bears however, and I would be grateful if you guys the current owners can let me know if they are real issues you face:

1) Air cond not cold enough - I've tested three different units in three different showrooms. Including on 508. The common problem was the air cond doesnt seem to cool, despite being on the lowest temperature. Even on auto -mode same issue. My borrowed 7 year old Myvi is doing much better.

2) Radio quality - Every car i've driven has rather poor sound quality, especially when it's own radio. its not crisp and sounds fuzzy. Again, very sad that the Myvi system sounds better.

As mentioned, would really be grateful if you could share with me your experiences on the above. The air cond in particular is bothersome - in Malaysia, poor aircond is tantamount to suicide.
