the dust is an issues... since the HDD cooler's fan too near with PCB, u may see a lot of dust attached on the PCB after some times... dont forget the dust can increase the temperature...

for me, i prefer buy the cheap 2 unit of 8cm case fan (<RM10) and get some metal thinggy from DIY shop (RM2) to do the position/stable it... if ur hdd at slot 1, then locate the 8cm case fans at slot 2/3 and blow directly to the PCB... plus not too much dust as well since have a distance between the hdd...

erm, this is what i did, just a huge chunk of heatsink to put onto my HDD, havent applied any thermal paste yet.

the bottom part is hotter because the motor is located on the bottom of the frame, so if heat dissipation on top is faster, it can absorb the heat from bottom up. thumbup.gif
ps : look out at my siggy as i will sell them soon!!! cheap and practical solution

Make like this dhen will make the HDD be cool? no need any fan? where can get that thing?

yo.. i wanted to know, my cpu tem will grow until 60.0'c.. well.. juz plan for modifying the casing lo.... Plz asend some pic, so that it would give me some idea... cHiow...

But i think is normall kua..coz my temp also near 60'c ..but normally at 5x'c
