I see many different brand and different prices under each brand for mechanical keyboard. What is the different thou??

When I first use Brown switch (coming from HHKB Topre). I also have the same feeling like you. But after some time. I getting use to it already. It is indeed a bit ligther to me. I would suggest maybe put a rubber o-ring if your bottom out often. I type a lot so the Tactile Bump do help me a lot.

I got a Maltron with Black Swtiches now, wow.. That is just too stiff and heavy to me. Still cant get use to it. 

Lol. Define exposed. I don't know what kind of desktop setup you have, but if your keyboard drops often and you tug a lot on the cable then... No further comment.

Unless you want something like the Quick Fire Rapid.

The RK9000 usb socket is not recessed like the Coolermaster one your picture so its a weak point.

I move my keyboard out of the way now and then to make space for books/papers and other equipment and it fell once or twice because I placed the kb on a pile of papers at the edge of the desk. Not a big risk here but could happen again.

Whats more likely is that I might drop something heavy right on the usb socket and break it. So the usb socket part is weak and lousy and won't work for me.

Well in that case, you can find QuickFire TK here in Malaysia for Blue/Brown/Red switch.
For Rapid and Trigger, I can't find any MX Blue and Brown switch here in Malaysia

Apparently MX Brown Switches aren't really what i fancy for

my hands easily make and mistake here because its rather too soft for me....

the features are neat and i get it for RM135 so not a single complain just that i feel it still softer.
a big leap for me since the last keyboard are Gigabyte Force K3

My keyboard, Rosewill 9100BR also has different modifiers size and spacebar..
