QUOTE(storm88 @ Jan 22 2013, 04:47 PM) usage would be typing only, planned to get blue switch.tho i appreciate the mini form factor of 84, the 87 bar sometimes quite useful. if 87 i would take cm storm qfr, but hard to find blue switch |

QUOTE(imbibug @ Jan 22 2013, 09:39 PM) I saw it before, I don't like the mini-usb socket being so exposed on the RK9000, its flimsy and might break if the kb drops or after a sharp tug on the cable. how often you cabut your keyboard ? unless you really got a lot and keep switching then I can see the reason why. |

QUOTE(hersa_wex @ Jan 28 2013, 10:02 PM) Agree. Really hate to desolder LED. Too small and hard to suck it out completely. ================Divider============== My Keycool 84 key black + keycool numpad is on the way now. Really looking forward. My next target will be this http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r....&id=15774138414 BTW, there is a few set of CM rapid blue in Penang. But the box is opened..... now I just paid for red switch |

btw, yesterday got 2 packs of keycaps. metallic from china and vortex dye sub pbt by kaiserreich ( thanks
![]() I like the metal key caps as in qwer asd but the alluminium alloy of the spacebar is something not really to my liking. can't really feel metal surface but like plastic. though the material is metal, the key is definitely cool in air-cond room. |

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Jan 30 2013, 08:21 PM) That's the regular price and only price you will find across the whole Malaysia. Our products are all price controlled items. You will only see discount/promotion when we decide to run it with all the dealers. The PBT model is a limited edition model, there's not gonna be any discount thinking which keyboard to get next or change keycaps first, all metal one |

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Jan 30 2013, 11:02 PM) Well you can use any keycap with Ducky but Ducky is an LED board so you need to look for LED cap unless you are ok with the LED being under the keys and not shine through. This is where classic boards like RK9000 shines. You get a cheap, no nonsense mechanical keyboard, where you can change the caps however you want. I love the RK9000I it's so hot looking and so noisy. It makes me seem like I'm typing really fast and busy so people don't bother me that white color really attracts me..oh why didn't I buy it in the first place instead of black color |

Reason didn't go for TK because of different modifier for bottom row.
