omg, i tried calamity against MP10 ghom, just stand there bola shoot, sentry GT & spike traps whack ghom and thats it.. no kite at all

You can time how many seconds needed to kill Ghom @ MP8.
And do comparison between Manti and Cammy, to find out real damage per second

You will have excellent survivability too, unless you encounter nasty elites (with vortex) that pull you land on the eyes of arcane.

You should be doing perfectly well @ MP10 if you can keep your EHP at the range of 300K-350K (d3up)

high ias from Cala = perma stun using Thunder Ball & perma gloom via disc gained from NS passive utilising Echoing Blast Hatred also regen much faster bcos of the super ias

i agree with Aleune .. only vortex packs are the bane of cala user lolz

did a test against MP8 ghom:
manticore need 1m 24sec
calamity need 1m 10sec

with cala disc & hatred regen is not a problem.
but with manti, i will die in vain if not managing well in both disc & hatred.

Well of course the more the merrier but I'd say you should have at least 50k hp with 450 AR min and 4k armor and of course with guardian sentry as one of your skill + perfectionist+ Gloom, you should be fine on high mp's.

Yes, Manti has higher damage per hit. And Cammy has higher damage per second.

You have both damage & survivability with cammy.

For me, I don't just look at armor & AR anymore.
I look at EHP.

is easier to get AR than armor.. I can't seem to stack armor at all..

calamity is not better. When you have 2.08 AS and above with the manticore than you'll see why manticores are better.

yeap ... after tested it, i bought another cammy but DPS is 1.15k only:



1.2k price is still reasonable at range 100m-200m but i'm short of golds after bought a new nat ring this morning.
btw, this cammy come with 100% cd + 49% weapon dmg. i straightaway b/o 70m without thinking..

bro, i'm exploring on other chars. a bit boring farming with my monk now..
farming & leveling PL made me so sleepy even with TR build..
mainly is due to i'm hitting bottle net on my gear now, stuck at max 150k DPS, any further upgrade will cost hundreds million easily. besides that, i feel like monk is very limited on build diversity. only have cookie cutter build & TR fast farming at lower mp. so i dont think i will crawling with my monk till PL100. just casual play then enough

p/s: DH's gloom is really amazed me, 0 LS/LOH have no problem tanking higher MP
compare to our monk, we have no skill to regen life effectively. that life per spirit spent is a big joke

I have 2.10 AS with Manti, 220K paper DPS.
I have 3.06 AS with Cammy, 200K paper DPS.

Ghom test, Cammy can dish out more damage per second for my build.

The price for Cammy is not expensive for now, as compared to EF with LS.

20k DPS is too small for the manticore to shine.

The whole idea is to have way more DPS on the manticore to cover up the lower AS.
