I didn't do detailed study on this.
I just observe the damage gain from my manti and calamity with marquise ruby.

Calculation is something like this.

Assuming your Manti has 40% damage.
So, you get from marquise ruby, 160 + 40% = 224
Min damage, 894 + 224 = 1118
Max damage, 1247 + 224 = 1471

Find it kind of weird that you lose DPS with marquise ruby.

LOL i did not. I forget the bonus dmg percentage.

I gain 22k with marquise ruby + marquise emerald

I gain 10k with 2 x marquise ruby.

Im gonna go test it against mobs now.

Meh sucks.. is just paper DPS.

I feel that it works for me with 1 ruby 1 emerald. There's a big damage buff to skills that is based of weapon damage.

150 ammys crafted and still nothing decent.. sigh..

ammy and glove is the hardest to craft cause they have alot of possible affix
try craft shoulder(don have cc,cd,ias,LOH,LS and etc) ...less affix can get nice one really fast...

PS: I found that RS ruby is more worth the gold per dps
RS ruby cost avg 24m per pc = I gain 5.6k dps
M ruby cost (24m x 3 )+ 20m to craft = I gain 12.7 dps

92m for 7.1 dps different...

Its memang mahal but I thought to myself, might as well do it once and for all... Just one time spend then ok. How do you feel about socketing the ruby? Do you see a big difference?

The new reflect is better. The mobs phase their damage reflection at different times, so you almost always have something to life steal off.

not all skill are meant to be use in high mp

you not goin to kite those mobs

And one more thing, i was testing 1 M ruby + 1 M emerald to 2 RS emerald. I figured 20% CHD aint gonna be THAT much.

My findings were
1 ruby 1 emerald (both marquise) with elemental arrow, the damage is slightly higher than 2 RS emerald. (like 20k higher). So is 20% crit damage going to beat that? I wish I could test it.

Then, i tried Clusters with 1 ruby 1 emerald, i'm doing like 100k more as my max went over 1mil when i could barely hit 900k with 2 RS emeralds. Again, I wish i could test it with 2 M emeralds.

so long story short, i'm still confuse =D
