my wiz and barb oso damn scared of being jailed/frozen while standing on plague.

Any calamity user with marquise ruby?

The dps boost (with ruby) on calamity is way higher than manticore.
And the damage is nice on calamity now.
Plus the fast attack speed & extreme rapid explosion with bola, i just love this now.

P/S Quick test. Ghom @ MP10, took me 1min 40sec (100 seconds). Just bola + echoing blast.
I would have got better score if I slotted in another offensive skill.

P/S Used Andariel's Visage. That tells you I dropped alot of EHP.
However, the survivability is much much better @ MP10 key run. Just very awesome.

I have calamity but only 1075 dps.. haven't tried it yet on my Cal. Very painful to spend 5M just to unsocket it from my manticore.

Not worth it for your case in terms of DPS/damage output.
This is because your 1075DPS calamity can't beat your 1370DPS Manti.

For my case, i have a 1170DPS calamity and 1183 Manti. Quite similar dps rated weapon.
With ruby, my calamity and manti turn to 1592DPS and 1460DPS respectively.
I can see calamity can have good damage output.

However, you can test it to find out the awesomeness of survivability with calamity, without the marquise ruby.

Yeah, I'm itching to see how much of a buff it is on calamity. I really enjoy using calamity. The AS is just awesome but wouldn't you have to subtitute other gears with CD for the loss of 100% CD from emerald?

To sacrifice additional 100% CD or not, I think it's just paper dps.
My concern is the real damage instead of paper dps.
So I used ghom@MP10 as benchmark.

My Manti gives more paper DPS, 211K DPS (took 125 seconds to kill Ghom) .
My Calamity only has 200K DPS (100 seconds to kill Ghom).

But it seems the Calamity can kill a lot faster than my Manti.
Plus, better survivability.
I think it is good replacement.

Finally after 200 tries.. I crafted a decent ammy :

CC 10.0

Want to get the trifecta Btw, this ammy make me lose 50 AR which i'm not very happy with. Instead i gain 20k dps.. still feel not worth it.

Yeah that's my plan. To craft for high vit shoulder and bracers.. not sure bracers can or not as my current one has 140 vit on it.. I'm considering getting a ring with AR and Vit which i saw costs about 50M. can definitely cover a lot of eHP for me and it also comes with 170Dex on the ring so it's a pretty good deal. My shoulder definitely can get lots of vit as the one I have is a very old one and has no vit. So In terms of vit, there's lots more gear that I can add with vit but at the moment, I'm going to craft shoulder and bracers till i get the one i'm satisfied with. Once done then I'll go back to amulet again. Btw, you need tome for upgrading jewel is it? I think the rest no need tome right?

Crafting need ToS as well (xcept for ammy)
Razorspikes & Gloves - 5 ToS per craft
Pauldrons - 10 ToS per craft
Lucky i stock up on ToS pre-1.07 price of ToS in AH keep climbing up up n away

unless u buy those from perfect square from AH

try to consider to craft vit gear
who knows maybe it came out good

for me ,i go for
vit ammy (affix ...AR,CC,CD...little dex...avg dmg would be a bonus )
dex pauldrons (affix AR,armor if can,some vit)
dex bracer...(affix cc6%,AR ,some vit)

saw a demon hunter using a skill where it keeps exploding with a big ass blast with some fancy big chinese or japanese word coming out everytime when the skill explode. What skill is that, legolases?

Hmmm not sure. All i know, each explosion will come out the same 'word'. It's a big ass explosion though.

Maybe its a combination of skills?

Yeah that's the word! But the word is amplified into a large one as an explosion occurs. If im not mistaken, the user is using a hand crossbow. Not sure if that helps....

Marked for death is to mark the enemy or area (depends on which rune you use) so that additional damage taken by the target.

Explosion, it could be skills like spike trap, bola shot or grenades.

It's combination of 2-3 skills.
