1km is not comfortable walking distance...

i think better dun expect MRT station as the main factor since it is not that near. Walking might not be feasible enough except if it has feeder bus to the MRT. Nearby MRT is a plus and Green Residence is nearby Green Terrain too ... so one can do the maths on the nearest station.

Erm 1 km i don't really think can be considered as walking distance. Even if you are willing to walk need to consider the surroundings along the way, whether its safe.

Green Residence@Cheras
One of Binastra’s upcoming projects that Tan is eager to see completed is a high-rise residential project called Green Residence in Cheras. The project is currently being built on about 10 acres of freehold, elevated land along the Grand Saga Highway that links Cheras and Kajang.

The artist’s impressions show three towers — with Block A featuring 19 storeys of 178 units, Block B 26 storeys of 192 units and Block C 30 storeys of 224 units.

I saw a condo high on top of nearby hill from the OCBC bank @ Alam Damai direction, is that Green Terrain or Green Residence?

Not sure which building you are talking about. You can search for Green Terrain on iProperty but Green Residence is not built yet, not even the foundation I guess.

Green Terrain can be seen along Cheras-Kajang Highway after RM1 Batu 9 toll if you are heading towards Kajang direction. Just opposite Petronas across the highway.
