how about doing it so that those green land/ forest reserve can remain intact as long as it can?

It is one way to think there is still aplenty, why bother or we can think this way, today is the day I start bother/care, so what is important remain aplenty.

Thats why re-habitation is important. Old building must go to replace with a modern and convenient building. But when comes to compensation part, most of the time is about "SONGLAP". This is what the new Government should look into. i dont see Zero Corruption in BN manifesto, do u?

I watched this Japanese drama. The so called apartment, just open door and you walk
Into a room, sleep, cook, study all there,. It's just like a room. Maybe next time. This concept applies here also. Maybe someone will think of an expandable room feature... When you have more money, can buy adjacent rooms and transform into a proper. Apartment... Haha.

the root of all problem is constantly people's day to day choices: We are busy developing spatial near green/panaromic view and not knowing such demand create so much environmental issue. I dare the developer to look at small scale rebuilding old structure (recycle) and until those are exhausted, and then if we need to build, build small, there is an acceptance level i think we can endure if we put our pride/ego as the least of our concern.

Forget about govt for a change, as an individual, why not we start to look at what we must have, and learn to live with that instead of the biggest, loudest all the time,

How about forget about ego extension/pride and practise minimalist living?

No. NO NO NO NO NO NO.

Small houses maybe, but microunits? NO. The reason why we live in Malaysia is because it happens to be more spacious here. What for get ourselves caught in the high density of these foreign countries????

See the China news I posted on 16 Apr 2013, land is scarce, yes Malaysia has land, so has japan , China but like them, most people is migrating to urban area/major cities, so it is more relevant than you think!

small homes makes more sense..a 500sft duplex unit would be nice:

1) Privacy : with bedroom located upstairs so that when guest come to the house they wont see everything (unlike studio)..

2) High-ceiling: Usually the duplex with nice layouts have really tall (2 floors) of ceiling at the living area. This makes the place look and feel much larger that it is.

other plus factor include easy to clean up, stay closer to office/city.

Once family gets bigger, then move into a bigger apartment/house and rent out the small unit :-)

Take a look atklang valley from Wikimapia, there's still hundreds of thousands of acres of land left undeveloped(outside the usual spots) with some semi-prime land close to the city capable of building more high density condos.

Why would we have to live in Microflats when there's so much of land left??

I think theres one microunit condo in KLCC coming up.
