preve turbo is just soft turbo, normally they go twincharged with supercharger, below 2k rpm is supercharger which is something like electric motor, after that is turbocharger using exhaust to push the turbine.
*
Well some turbocharger engine already at maximum torque even at 1250rpm. Some @ 1500rpm.

Hi guys,

Can any current preve owner  help me please? How much (rm) is a full tank for preve premium and how many km's can u get per full tank?

I'm a social worker living in klang and working in cheras. Thinking of getting a preve premium but a bit afraid i wont be able to afford the petrol. Currently my viva is getting 450km/full tank(rm60). Just got a baby and viva is too small to fit all the things now.

Thanks guys...appreciate your kind advice...
*
Expecting 8l/100km if you are gentle on the foot and driving on highway most of the time, or even better FC (depend how u drive it)
If you are more on short distance town driving, RM75 fuel shall last you 350km+-.
If you are more mid distance town driving, RM75 fuel shall last you around 400km per tank (10l/100km).

Its decent for a C segment except the town driving FC

Expect rm70 to 80 for 450km city drive la..
*
Are you sure?

I have discussed with many members and that not really achievable. that's around 9l/100km for full city driving?
Driving at 110km/h at NKVE, Plus highway not consider as town driving.

Town driving, average speed should be around 25km/h or less

Today while while taking out ny front foglamp, I notice the left foglamp(fully covered and not the intercoller side) has no rubber seal in front of it like the right one. Anyone has noticed this ?
*
Intercooler should be on the left. Normal, air intake to cool down the intercooler. Intercooler acts as heat dissipater

I'm quite frustrated with my preve's alignment, done it about a month ago in CoSE, now it's running to the left again. About to travel to Penang. Should I wait till I get back, or is it OK to drive long distance with a misaligned car?

Do it ASAP to avoid uneven Tyre wear

hi guys. i remove my plastic deck cover in order to check where does the "tak tak tak" or tucking sound from rear boot come from.

user posted image credit to ahaidir777
After removing it, i drove it to see whether the sound gone or not. Surprisingly, the sound still there and i conclude the sound come from the metal part near the boot area (probably somewhere around the speaker) and bcoz this time no plastic deck, the sound is far more obvious.

it sound like metal parts are clashing each other. you know its metal if you hear it. it must have something to do with chasis or improper welding.

Then i cannot do anything but bear with the annoying sound, if plastic then i can put some foam or cloth.  very dissappoint how this can happen only after 14K km.

Anyone from proton can rectify this? looks like only cose can rectify this. normal sc wouldn't solve this i guess.
*
Locate a service centre with collision repair and spray painting. At least they have the welding equipments if you need any welding jobs. Normal service centre might send to contractor (who u dun know the quality of workmanship)

Hey I'm new here and i want to ask about Preve Premium FC is it normal if i get 20km average speed and 10.4l/100km(From Kuching)?I bought Rm50 oil and only can get 170km(last bar).
Btw, Im using Elf engine oil and it's semi synthetic. Do engine oil effect mileage?
*
Rm50/1.90/1.7 =15.48l/100km
its bad if you ask me. Cfe is not meant for city driving.

I'm getting nearly 13l/100km in town, with average 23km/h speed

I'm looking for reverse camera + donno yet..just want to window shopping see what's available.
got extra 2k to spend.
*
1. Reverse camera, RM200 to Rm250
2. Ultra Racing bars, around RM950
3. A decent ICE system, around 1.5k (sub, amp, decent component speakers. visited in shop in Shah Alam sec 25, I think they have good offers for quality stuff)
4. Firestorm? Highly recommended, improve FC and reduce engine harshness, smoother ride.

5. Cheap DIY mod. Please perform the turbo pressure hose (cable ties) mod and engine mounting DIY mod. Less than RM30 and u have smoother and better ride. To know more, visit PREVOC FB.

Not even tyre/rim yet...

any drilling or welding required?
or Preve ready plug and play with third party ARB with screws and bushing only?
*
Ultra racing bars just replace the original front stabiliser bar and rear roll bar to a much thicker version, thus more stiff too.

Plug n play.

LYN is full of pages. I miss a few weeks reading and lost already. PREVOC FORUM easier to look up info but info has more or less stopped there.
