QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 17 2013, 03:34 PM) Agreed. I think if it was just a small sliver of high resolution display separate from the main screen to show alerts will be useful. Otherwise, if some smart*ss marketing dude decides that "lets include that (1920 x 40) x 2 pixels as part of the total screen resolution, and lets market this as a 1920 x 1080 CURVED display" campaign, sorry I'm not buying that.QUOTE(kevintth @ Jan 17 2013, 03:34 PM) Here Flexible screen as in a slight curve to say you have a flexible screen is bs. That's what LG liked to do....market the hell out of every tiny little modification (swivel camera, pink colored variant etc). Flexible screen like a properly foldable device per your pic is good. Well, there was that 7" Toshiba Libretto W100 with dual 1024x600 screen that used to a nerd's wet dream, but was too damned expensive.http://www.techgoondu.com/2013/01/15/flexi...p-mobile-space/ and Note 2 before this also got rumor about flexible screen but it the end ... tak da http://androidspin.com/2012/08/08/samsung-...-amoled-screen/ |

QUOTE(neo0915 @ Jan 17 2013, 03:42 PM) Thanks for the suggestion... Yes its because of the dark color. Dark color absorb the light from your proximity sensor thus nothing is reflected back and the app do not work well. One method is sticking a small bright color tape on your flip cover that the sensor will reflect back. After i hav installed it, only found it doesnt work if the flip case is in dark color... Im using Samsung ori flip case (grey) and it doesnt work for me... Any other suggestion ? It was recommended that you stick a small piece of white colored plastic or paper where your cover will touch the sensor for it to work properly. I think the app description states this. I tried using it with no cover at all by placing it in my pouch it worked off and on. Discontinued using after a while.I remember this is recommend by Fruitie if i am not mistaken, maybe can ask for her opinion? |

QUOTE(keeycheng @ Jan 17 2013, 03:46 PM) lol i not sure coz i am not using it... I bought the Pro version of Proximity Screen on/off.I remember this is recommend by Fruitie if i am not mistaken, maybe can ask for her opinion? It works like what it should but I find it oversensitive. I have uninstalled it. My sister faced with sudden shut down when she was using this app. Before I installed for her, her phone worked well no auto reboot or shut down. Few hours after I installed this app for her, straight her phone went shut down without her notice. Then, she uninstalled it and until today she has never faced with any similar issue. Coincidence? I'm not sure, |

QUOTE(johnleeisme2004 @ Jan 17 2013, 11:37 AM) Sorry if this question has been answered before but I can't find it anywhere in this forum: Is there an option to add new page in the apps screen (not home screen) in Note 2 running Jelly Bean 4.1.2? I don't seem to find it anywhere under the "edit" mode. Or a new page will be created automatically only after all the pages are full? No one can enlighten me? |
