Not facing this problem.

been thinking of getting either a Samsung Galaxy III or a Note 2.......

Just one thing bugging me is the size of the Note 2. While it's great for reading and browsing, i will probably need to carry it around in my handbag. Anyone can comfortably carry it in your jeans? i doubt so....

And why is getting a Note 2 better than getting a Galaxy III (apart from the drawing pen)?

Did any of you guys regret getting a Note 2 instead of the Galaxy III? Screen size really not much different i think...

definately no regret, right now Note 2 is still the best phone in the market. Yea note 2 is big, but you dont wear tight jeans should not be a problem for u to bring your note 2. Specs wise, it is almost similar to S3 but with bigger battery capacity and bigger ram - 2GB, no lag!

1) I can carry it around in my jeans easily. The phone maybe big in surface area but the slimness makes it easy to put into jeans
2) Way better battery life, bigger screen, double the ram
3) No regrets. In fact S3 totally did not interest me at all.

I always carry my GN2 in my jeans' front pocket. No trouble at all. Not a single regret. Really happy with it.

doesnt really bothers me with the size. i carry a pouch to keep my note 2.

screen size a lot different.

getting note 2 is better IMO : screen size, faster, crazy battery life, stylus and many more( cant think right now).

most of all it is ANDROID!

i bought it due to the big screen and the SPen so your worries are invalid to me.
if you are a female, most of the time you will be bringing your handbag right? so shouldn't be a problem.

no offence but women rarely use their pockets. they either clutch things in hand or put it in a handbag. I've seen lots and lots female users of both s3 and note2 and they never whip it out of their pockets. it's always either in hand or from the handbag.

anyway note2 hands down over anything else unless you want a fullhd screen.

what kind of pouch do you use? I use a delsey travel that can be looped to the belt or used with a sling.

anyone facing any lag issues on monx rom?

dunno why but sometimes opening whatsap could take like 3 seconds to open. even scrolling has lags.

No lag. But i am not using stock kernel.

Compared to S3 note2 offers better, smoother performance n battery life at least twice s3. Spen an advantage if you see need to use it. Size is never a problem for me. I don't wear jeans but it will be a tight fit. It easily fit in my slacks n 3/4 shorts pockets

ok.....seems like generally ppl here prefer their Note 2 over the S3.....

one more thing, with the NFC thingie and security, is it safe? Can we disable NFC in the phone, as some have posted here videos of security risks etc....

i'm from an ifag background where there's no need for antivirus, and worries of malicious threats, so i'm curious bout how you guys safeguard your private data or cc info...

bro the ladies are usually not interested in the numbers. you need to tell a compelling story around the numbers otherwise it normally does not make sense to them.

Of cos u asking in note 2 thread people MOST probably prefer note 2.

NFC can turn off. Never needed any antivirus app and never had any problems.

I'm the odd one. I put in pocket.
I don't carry handbags everywhere I go, for convenience and safety purpose.
So, I need pockets all the time.

im using just a normal waist pouch. thinking of getting a better one coz i travel a lot and i hate putting stuff in my pocket

so any recommendations?

yup. my power saving is on.

NFC can be turned off no worries. i don't buy stuff through my phone unless from Play Store but CC info is stored in Google Wallet not inside the phone.
