QUOTE(crayzee @ Jan 18 2013, 01:40 PM) Guys, i just tried fondling the N4 at the digi store just now. Under bright sun light and the screen is off, i noticed there is a pattern underneath the touch panel. Some sort like a touch panel circuit. That is the digitiser. I have made known about this issue back in V2, but nobody seems to care, cause I was comparing it with GNex. I guess many fanboys in denial. Is it a defect? cos it's very obvious when the screen is off. It makes the screen looks cheap when the phone display is turned off due to the visible circuit. There were S3 and Ip5 side by side and those 2 are not noticable. I'm just wondering if the same thing for other N4s as well? Other than that, the N4 feels good and solid on my hands and is waay faster and smoother than the S3 |

QUOTE(chingchen @ Jan 18 2013, 02:48 PM) rooted and flash with franco kernel. battery life has improved greatly. so far left 57% battery with 2 hours screen time. QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 18 2013, 02:51 PM) I wanted to leave everything at its original state at first, but the battery life was quite short. I plan on rooting it and flashing it. What rom and kernel will you guys suggest? I have no idea which to use. |

tbh, the stock charger included doesn't play well with my other cables.
this is based on my not so scientific review using battery monitor widget pro. maybe some can test this too? stable for me is it fluctuates very little maybe around 10mA stock LG charger + LG stock cable = 800mA stock LG charger + ciplak OEM cable =500mA stock LG charger + pro signal high quality USB cable(2 metres long) = 500mA my old HTC charger + LG stock cable =800mA my old HTC charger + ciplak OEM cable =650mA my old HTC charger + pro signal high quality USB cable(2 metres long) = 800mA stable using blackberry charger = 800mA stable SO i decided to keep the LG charger in the box and just use my old HTC charger. testing method » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « LG charger put rated output at 1.2A, but i am only getting 0.8A max imo how good a charger is based on its real output against its rated output and how stable it is. disclaimer: i do not have an engineering background and this is just my own personal testing method, maybe others can come out with a better testing method.
