QUOTE(josh. @ Jan 15 2013, 02:44 PM) I still dont find the checklist for disable auto sync for the components. Can you post a screenshot? sorry i was wrong. you already turned off auto-sync data. you need to turn it on to be able to select individual items. Settings > Data Usage > Auto-sync data. If not mistaken u have unchecked that. Turn it back on and then go to Settings > Accounts > Google. You'll be able to select which item to check/uncheck.

QUOTE(ywkwy @ Jan 15 2013, 04:35 PM) I use this too.. Because the other toolkit need to donate only can use on 4.2.1.. actually mskip's toolkit works fine on 4.2.1 as well even without donation. Just choose 4.2 and it will work.

QUOTE(Edoras @ Jan 15 2013, 06:25 PM) How many of you really don't care about having a protective case and just carry a "naked" Nexus 4? i have a case to elevate the phone slightly because of usability issues (enhance speaker loudness) and also coz it provides a grip when i put it on smooth surfaces. no screen protector though (never had one for the past 3 years of using various smartphones)

Try Apex then. It's comparable in terms of speed and features.

QUOTE(anarchy2cruo @ Jan 17 2013, 05:10 PM) Yeahh!! My rearth ringke slim arrived. Now easier to press power/sleep button compare to Nillkin hard case. [attachmentid=3267264][attachmentid=3267268] is the rearth ringke slim more "rubbery" (provide more grip) than the Nillkin case? I have the Nillking one currently and the sides feel quite slippery if compared to the actual phone sides itself.

QUOTE(sophan @ Jan 18 2013, 11:00 AM) my best skin ever and ever finally arrived. after 3 weeks waiting and using out of the box "screen protector" Just flash back to _motley exp:b17 kernel since after 2 days using franco r34, i feel r34 laggy. Answering phone calls also lag a bit. Quadrant also only can get 3K plus. After flashing motley this is what i get: and all the lags gone.very smooth. any comparison guys? How about battery life for motley exp:b17 compared to franco r34?

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Jan 18 2013, 03:00 PM) That is the digitiser. I have made known about this issue back in V2, but nobody seems to care, cause I was comparing it with GNex. I guess many fanboys in denial. yep you're absolutely right. i was puzzled regarding this last week as well until i read some threads on XDA explaining this. so the conclusion is the "lines" or "dots" are perfectly normal for Nexus 4.

For everyone using stock kernel at the moment, using wifi instead of 3G will save you battery for sure due to the MSM_HSIC_HOST wakelock bug that will only be fixed in the next version of android.
