Here's a totally n00b question - how do you guys take care of your minifigures? Do you guys actually play with your sets or just take them out for photoshoots?

As I have mentioned before, I'm a collector and I take really good care of my collectibles (or at least I TRY to!). I'm concerned about the printing on the figures (since they are so valuable). How do you prevent your minifigures from getting scratched up or damaged (loose arms or legs - think it's happened to my old LEGO before)? Do you spray it with clear spray or something to protect the paint/printing?

Long story short, how do you prevent this from happening .......

The pic is a key-chain which belongs to my friend (if you're a member of this forum, sorry MC! biggrin.gif) and the extent of the damage is probably due to keys/coins scratching it up in the pocket/purse. But you get the picture .......

these guys are crazy..
they even figure out the way to storage the Lego box shocking.gif

All in all, these large transparent storage bags are a LEGO investor and collector's best friend. The storage bags help protect from the dust and moisture that can be found in every house, yet will also protect from major water damage from possible pipe leaks and smoke damage from fires or cigarettes. Also, the prevention of shelf wear, which can reduce the value of any Mint In Sealed Box LEGO set, is another big positive. While not structural in any way like cardboard boxes are, these bags don't take up any valuable space like paper products do. So do yourself a favor and pick up a couple of boxes and start protecting your LEGO sets. In the long run, you won't be disappointed.

We too are crazy...
Don't forget to construct a climate-control room when you build your dream-house, besides a Lego playroom.

Yes. His life is full of tragedies.

Lost his parents as a child in Batman Begins.

Lost his loved one in The Dark Knight. Attacked by Rottweilers, got shot.

Lost his money and fortune in The Dark Knight Rises. Got his heart broken (Again after 8 years!) AND stabbed at the same time. Plus this is the movie you really get to know the extent of damage being Batman does to his body

the price of Lego might have been roughly the same over the years in the US, but not in Malaysia doh.gif
Nevertheless, it was a very good read. The source links below about why Lego almost went bankrupt are also very good!
