QUOTE(hyde6699 @ Oct 23 2015, 09:37 PM) Thanks for the info bro. But one more question, signing contract under third party agency not consider as HuaWei permanent employer? I was thinking that recruitment agency earn commission based on success recruitment for their client. Consider outsource worker. Yes not permanent. |

QUOTE(hyde6699 @ Oct 23 2015, 10:37 PM) Thanks for the info bro. But one more question, signing contract under third party agency not consider as HuaWei permanent employer? I was thinking that recruitment agency earn commission based on success recruitment for their client. Not entirely wrong, but probably the person whom dispersed the info did not bother to explain it in details.Recruitment companies are engaged with HuaWei for only 1 reason - to fulfill their recruitment needs. All those positions delegated to recruitment agencies are above a certain paygrade and for some cases, they would want someone from competitor. These positions are Permanent. All these requirements fall under standard 1 time recruitment fee. Some recruitment agencies has HR Outsourcing services offered to companies who want to hire contract staff as they do not have permanent headcount. Most MNCs fixed their headcount ahead of the year which its easier for them to account the OPEX (Which mean they already purchase certain Units of Employee Insurance, other ad hoc units of benefits). Thus, if they require more human capital suddenly, they have no choice to hire contract until they have more headcounts in the following year. This is a recurring fee receivable by agency. NO recruitment fee involved. if compared, 1 time recruitment fee would bring in much much more revenue than HR Outsourcing, unless you have more than 100 under your payroll. Then it can go on par with recruitment services. You can consider yourself HuaWei' employee if you are hired under contract. But under black & white jurisdiction, you are contracted under third part agency and being outsourced to HuaWei. And most probably, HuaWei is one of the few who is willing to pay contract staff with permanent benefits which include their yearly bonus payout. |

Guys, I need to clarify something. I'm neither headhunter nor working in recruiting firm.
This morning I had an unpleasant email exchange with one of the member here due to his eagerness in getting jobs overseas. I understand most of you guys wanted to land with a job with nice pay and get over the bad situation. However, please bear in mind I have no obligation to reply your email / PM once you send me your resume. I'm not a nanny to your resume and you should update your resume yourself instead of asking me what to add in and etc. I will send your resume to the respective person but don't expect me to reply you immediately. I don't do this as a living and i have my own life to carry on. Even HR department will not reply your email once you send in resume withing 24 hours. And I share the available vacancy just to help you all to get a jobs. I don't earn anything in return. I hope this is clear and I will continue to share jobs available for Huawei. Cheers ! Is anyone working under contract with Huawei Shenzhen? I'm wondering what I should look out for in terms of contractual agreements. I understand most are P&C, so I'm open to a PM
I'm especially worried about the fact that I may have to pay for travel first and then claim to Huawei. This doesn't sound good to me. |

I understand most are P&C, so I'm open to a PM Travel always paid by company. Of course reimbursement during the trip eg : allowance, laundry, phone bills are to be claimed once the trip ends.I'm especially worried about the fact that I may have to pay for travel first and then claim to Huawei. This doesn't sound good to me. You need to pay nothing when you fly. Tickets are purchase by company, hotels are arranged and etc. Huawei Shenzhen is HQ. As far as i know the benefits are good. They even have allowance when you away from SZ for long. Which position you being offer ? |

QUOTE(LOVEBee @ Oct 29 2015, 12:09 PM) ive applied for accounting associate, account payable position in huawei. Hi there, i used to work in Huawei (back in 2011 lol) as senior accounting associate but in acc receivable.anyone can share his/her experience during interview for me? as im a fresh graduate with degree of banking and finance, i have little bit knowledge about accounting. thank you. there are 3 round of interview if you make it through. 1st will be with hr, 2nd head of dept, 3rd director of dept (this might different depends on their availability) so 1st interview is the basic general one. Like your weakness and strength. Why Huawei. Why you think you suitable for the position. What you can contribute to the company. How you handle office politic etc... 2nd interview comes the more technical and accounts related question. I cant recall much as it is long ago. i can only remember she ask about revenue costing! I remembered i'm unable to answer it correctly and she patiently explained to me what is revenue costing and how it related to the department works. Really the most patient interviewer! thumbs up to her! I think they just want to see how you have an idea on the position that you applied and common sense i guess. Read through your job description, get a brief idea what AP do. And it should be alright. 3rd interview is a china man. He is super busy and the whole interview not more than 10 mins. Go inside his room and sit and watch him signing lots of documents. Sit for about 5 mins then the first question is like can you speak in mandarin? then the whole conversation in mandarin. just basically ask do you know everything you need to do for this position. Then finish. Again, this is my experience on AR back in 2011. I'm not sure hows it look like for AP but hopefully can give you some idea. |
