Anyone from account dept?
planning to apply for accounting associate position but dont know whether it is good anot...

Hi there, i used to work in Huawei (back in 2011 lol) as senior accounting associate but in acc receivable.
there are 3 round of interview if you make it through.
1st will be with hr, 2nd head of dept, 3rd director of dept (this might different depends on their availability)

so 1st interview is the basic general one. Like your weakness and strength. Why Huawei. Why you think you suitable for the position. What you can contribute to the company. How you handle office politic etc...

2nd interview comes the more technical and accounts related question.
I cant recall much as it is long ago. i can only remember she ask about revenue costing!
I remembered i'm unable to answer it correctly and she patiently explained to me what is revenue costing and how it related to the department works.
Really the most patient interviewer! thumbs up to her!
I think they just want to see how you have an idea on the position that you applied and common sense i guess.
Read through your job description, get a brief idea what AP do. And it should be alright.

3rd interview is a china man. He is super busy and the whole interview not more than 10 mins.
Go inside his room and sit and watch him signing lots of documents.
Sit for about 5 mins then the first question is like can you speak in mandarin? then the whole conversation in mandarin.
just basically ask do you know everything you need to do for this position. Then finish.

Again, this is my experience on AR back in 2011.
I'm not sure hows it look like for AP but hopefully can give you some idea.
