Hey.

Didn't follow this thread for so long and I'm so out dated. I just heard it from my friend during cny that the boss of genneva was murdered. He and his whole family. They said it came out in the Chinese newspaper. Is it true?
*
False news. Some disgruntled Chinese customer make a photochop to curse or threaten the directors only. That's all.

I don't see anything on GMS about not filing a JR. However, I do recall that they are supposed to be filing one after the CNY holidays have ended. One day has pass since the holiday is over. Any updates?

Edit: For further proof on how deluded those hardcore folks on GMS are, check out this little post by Lulu:

So obvious our mainstream media is not independent. Here's the only media that showed the embarrassing moment when the rakyat yelled back "No!" when PM asked, "Are you ready for BN?"

Yeah, I agree that Singapore's media is more reliable than Malaysian. What about it? Singapore's media has called Genneva yet another ponzi scheme, don't see you guys taking heed.

You only hear what you want to hear and shut out what out those you don't agree with.

QUOTE(rzkb @ Feb 16 2013, 03:31 AM)
if that is the mentality of the so called pro-opposition, based on the genneva supporters fb page, then i rather let BN rule for a longer time
*
Whoa, don't lump us pro-opposition supporters with GMS. We have standards, you know. Very clear demarcation line right there, thank you very much.

As I have mentioned repeatedly - GMS do not belong in any political camp but their own. They are political prostitutes. They might be pro-PR and complain about BN now, but do note that they are very deliberately implying that they will vote for BN if Genneva's assets are released. The impression they are trying to give off is that they were all a bunch of sleeping dogs who didn't care about politics until their heebah got taken away. I call bullshit on that.

Can I volunteer to have someone do me immorally? Sounds kinky. brows.gif

Well, I actually kinda starting to feel sorry for even the GMS folks now. In all fairness, BNM should have provided some updates by now. Although those folks at GMS will likely ignore or insist that BNM are lying, I do believe that the victims who are not in the GMS camp at least deserve some news.

This will fall under the category of throwing good money after bad, but hey...what's RM50 compared to the loss they already suffered?

Supposedly they have 60k customers. If everyone contributes, they should get a final figure for RM3 million? Quite a lot of dosh. I'll bet that a more realistic figure would be about 50k though.

Anyway, is $$$ really required to file a JR? Or is the sum meant for the lawyer's fee?

Has anyone attended one of their talks on 'How to get your gold and money back from BNM'? I am rather curious about what they harp on about. After all, its not as if BNM confiscated sufficient gold and money to pay back everyone simply because Genneva was short on funds and assets. Have they been hand-waving it away with the memo from the directors that simply stated that the figures might be inaccurate?

bolded... that cancer patient, supposedly his only income is Rm300 per month he hardly has savings, or refinance housing, or get approved for personal loan to buy Gold from Genneva?
I feel truly sorry for him if he had loan from his relatives or ahlong to invest with Genneva, how many hundred thousands of ringgit
*
I feel sorry for them too...the victims at least, but they are focusing their anger at the wrong target.

Than again, he's a consultant. However sad his story might be, how many others has he roped into the scheme?

From what I can tell on the GMS page, today is supposed to be the dateline for the submission of police report so that they can proceed with the JR.

Let's see if the JR actually happens, and if it does than what would be the outcome of it.

My money is on the judge throwing it out as a waste of time. laugh.gif

Arubin, you are very clever. Otherwise how to survive so long in there?? I was trying to ask question with the hope that some of the followers will read my questions and start asking it themselves.

So once in a while need to give support to GMS.. usually start by..

so and so.. you are absolutely correct in saying that.. followed by a load of bullshit

2 paragraph later then only come to the real question.

It got pass those fellows for a long time until I start questioning this faceless Dee Casey who is "not surprising at all" missing from the GMS pages after the call for the RM50.00 contribution smile.gif
*
Haha, I figured as much. I was wondering how long it would take for the those folks at GMS to catch on. They would have earlier if they read my comment here, but that would also expose them to the other opinions here which is also a good thing. laugh.gif

As for Dee disappearing...he might be too busy trying to plan the JR but I'm guessing he's trying to lay low for a while because too many people were asking about his real identity during all the talks organized by GMS.

How Genneva Malaysia make money? We are very sure that is their business secret which no businessman would divulge. But there is one important secret we know is their century of experiences in combination of their ages.

WTF is that even supposed to mean? What experience? What, exactly, is the background of the directors and the people behind Genneva? They all claim to have some experience in gold mining and trading but have not actually been able to supply actual proof. What gold mines? Where? Which country? Has anyone bothered to check or verify? Also, Poh Kong has already denied Ng Poh Weng's claim that he was formerly a founder.

Its like VGMC (Virgin Gold Mining Corporation). Its gold mining in name only. They claim to have interests in various gold mines around the world but its all rather vague. They have not been able to provide a verifiable list of mines that they have a stake in, yet somehow people are stupid enough to buy soime so-called 'shares' in the company.

As for their so-called JR, I believe their present excuse for the delay in filing is because they need to key in the info submitted so far into an Excel spreadsheet. They claim that there's a lot of paperwork to go through. rolleyes.gif I am guessing that they must be not very good at data entry...probably a little like my father who tentatively pokes at the keyboard with 2 fingers. laugh.gif

I am almost tempted to volunteer and go help them out since I have the sort of typing skills that bosses wish their secretaries have (programmer mar, so I am l337 icon_rolleyes.gif). Than again, I got better things to do with my time than to help out a bunch of deluded nutcases. Its just that I'm tempted to get the ball moving before I run out of popcorn again. laugh.gif

Dee Casey is back biggrin.gif

during CNY, say JR file immediately after CNY

now they can say JR will file immediately after Easter

wow... how many special occasions they have *celebrated* together as 1GennevaFamily, how romantic
*
And you know what the day immediately after Easter is? rclxm9.gif

Edit: I don't see anything regarding the Easter deadline on the GMS page. Deleted post?

Nice to see that someone has finally decided to hire a lawyer to sue GMSB and their consultant. Its what I and many others have suggested ages ago - sue. Looks like he will be getting a separate settlement and his money back sooner than those idiots waiting around for a JR. Good for him. thumbup.gif

The English is rather dodgy though. It might seem correct and even like 'powderful England' to the average Malaysian but there were enough grammatical errors in it to make me wince while reading it. Has the standard of English fallen so far in this country that even our lawyers are incapable of using the Queen's English?

On a related note, I wonder what happened to that little group who went to UMNO for the free lawyer...

Many awake long time ago, the only problem is Pat Lu kept on deleting these kind of comments.
Not sure what happened to her lately, so slumber.
I guess she doesn't trust others to monitor the page and she is the only admin there...
*
Shereen also stopped posting recently, and she used to be so active.

Still, the post on the Melaka meeting is quite happening in the comments section. I am quite surprised that they haven't been deleted yet.

No wonder there's been no further mention of the Melaka event on the GMS page. They were hoping that DAP would back them but it turned out otherwise. laugh.gif

I guess that same thing happened over in Sabah as well because there hasn't been a peep about it on the GMS page either.

So what is happening now guys? Can get money back or not?

Why are you asking? Are you a victim?

Give it up and move on with your life. Consider it a lesson learnt. Hopefully, you didn't put all of your money into this. If you did, oh dear...I hope you are still able to find work.

You should be able to file a 3rd party claim when the case is over (whenever that is, the first Genneva case is still ongoing) but its not as if there's much left to be divided among all the victims. Based on the figures released so far, you'll be lucky if you get back even 5% of your original investment.

And that is why I said you should consider the sum as written off, else it just gives you false hope and drags you down. The sooner you dump that baggage, the sooner you can start over with your life.

Its been really quiet for the past few days in GMS. No activity from the admin, nothing from Pat Lu, Shereen, DC, etc. However, there is a desperate Hungrarian looking for his lost love or something.

Hmm, it does look like they are actually getting something done at last. Exactly what, I don't know...and they don't want anyone else to know either.

Ah well...might as well leave them to their own delusions.

posted clips of news online abt MACC charged 3 directors of a gold investment company + 1 former BNM employee of bribery. the link to nanyang is especially damning as there is a picture of the directors in the court albeit being blurred. r those the directors of gmsb ?

I don't think they are. To my knowledge, the directors of GMSB are still out and about without even needing to post bail.
