They are doing TW3 and Cyberpunk 2077 concurrently so I doubt it.
Nah, they are not gonna start with Cyberpunk yet. The promo trailer was just, to promote their game, to recruit more people to make it. Well at least that's what they said during the release of that vid.

That's what I though too before they announced TW3 but it is simply not possible. Not with Cyberbunk having a tentative 2015 released date. Plus the open world scope of both games.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a small team working on it, while Witcher 3 gets pretty much all the man power.
You do not need that many people for prototyping the basic concept of a game until you reach proper production stage where you need as many people as you can get to reach all the art assets, gameplay and cinematic stuff.
30% bigger than Skyrim. It's over ambitious. Not to sound negative.. with such a big world it could be a big empty shell with very little stuff to do or even alot of cookie cutter uninteresting sidequests. I have no doubt on the main plot but the sidequests.
Adam Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt RED, has said that the franchise will continue.
This comes as a surprise because Adam Badowski, head of the studio, had said that they were going to make the best game in the franchise and ”end the series on a high note.”
Kicinski also mentioned that the game will be released in 2014. The series has also reached 5 million sales.
“The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take place in 2014. Game will be released at the same time on the PC on new, powerful hardware and the new generation of consoles,” he said to a Polish site stooq.pl.
“This is the last part of the trilogy where there will be a grand finale of the story. But it is not clear at the end of the franchise. Franchise will continue.”

I'm sure they will take Assassins Creed 3 as an example: how much boring side quests can damage a game.
