watching this title appears on Kotaku made me felt guilty because owning the sequels both (1 & 2), I haven't really play them.

there is still time to play them. It won't be out until late 2014. But I suggest you start now cause DA3 will be out later this year   

Well before i really hooked onto TW2.. i watched alot of game trailers.. the combat the development series, etc. At first i was expecting it to be a big world that i could explore and alot of wild creatures encounters alot of contracts, sidequests and even town or cities that you could discover yourself on the map.

Only to my expectation the game was only spanned towards 3 Acts where the last Act was the shortest. Really like what i'm reading for TW3.. because they are addressing ALL my concerns.

20-30% more bigger than Skyrim.. that's really very ambitious.. But i believe it could be done if their engine is similar to FC3 Dunia2 engine.

Are you sure DA3 is out this year? I thought 2014? Saw some screenshots of Witcher 3.. Not so sure. Nothing jaw dropping yet.

i just finished TW2. i skipped TW1 coz afraid no time to play (work commitments). just bought a gaming rig this year =p

Since most of you guys have finished both, which is better? if 1 is better, I'll go buy it immediately

can;t help, TW 2 is being made in mind to cater console as well, hence the simplified combat.
still, its a good great, juz TW is better overall.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to be the last game in The Witcher franchise. What's your take on this? Here's the explanation:

Adam Badowski, head of the studio, explained why CD Projekt RED will be ending the franchise with The Witcher 3:

“People may ask if this is really going to be the last Witcher game. Yes, it is. Why? Because we believe that we should end the series on a high note. Technology has progressed to where we can finally tell the story the way we want, with the visuals we want, in the world we imagined. This will be the ultimate fantasy RPG experience, and while we’re hardly out of stories to tell, we believe it’s time for us to look to new worlds and new horizons to keep pushing the boundaries of what we can create.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will feature “CD Projekt RED’s trademark decision-based storytelling flair with a living open world larger than any other in modern RPG history.” Players will venture across war-ravaged lands, sail misty waters and track down dangerous beasts for money. CD Projekt RED has also improved upon the combat system to make players “feel like a real monster-hunter, a witcher who uses his superior senses and fighting skills to survive in a dark fantasy world–while he embarks on a quest to save his loved ones.” Wild Hunt won’t contain any quick time events – “only intuitive RPG gameplay.”

After TW3 they will focus in Cyberpunk 2077, quite obviously.
