At the end of the teaser of Cyberpunk 2077, CDP Red is going to announce something on Feb 5, 2013. I really hope is the Witcher 3. A lot have been mentioned that it is going to be an open world game with an intense story. I have no problems with them going that route as I trust them with the story.

The game will be 30 times the size of The Witcher 2, with an open world larger than Skyrim

This is super awesome news. I am speechless as of now. I am confident with their story part and won't worry too much about their open world considering how great the graphics is for TW2.

there is still time to play them. It won't be out until late 2014. But I suggest you start now cause DA3 will be out later this year laugh.gif thumbup.gif

Are you sure DA3 is out this year? I thought 2014? Saw some screenshots of Witcher 3.. Not so sure. Nothing jaw dropping yet.

Anyway here's a picture:

Grab TW1. You won't regret it. It is a very good time spent.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to be the last game in The Witcher franchise. What's your take on this? Here's the explanation:

Adam Badowski, head of the studio, explained why CD Projekt RED will be ending the franchise with The Witcher 3:

“People may ask if this is really going to be the last Witcher game. Yes, it is. Why? Because we believe that we should end the series on a high note. Technology has progressed to where we can finally tell the story the way we want, with the visuals we want, in the world we imagined. This will be the ultimate fantasy RPG experience, and while we’re hardly out of stories to tell, we believe it’s time for us to look to new worlds and new horizons to keep pushing the boundaries of what we can create.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will feature “CD Projekt RED’s trademark decision-based storytelling flair with a living open world larger than any other in modern RPG history.” Players will venture across war-ravaged lands, sail misty waters and track down dangerous beasts for money. CD Projekt RED has also improved upon the combat system to make players “feel like a real monster-hunter, a witcher who uses his superior senses and fighting skills to survive in a dark fantasy world–while he embarks on a quest to save his loved ones.” Wild Hunt won’t contain any quick time events – “only intuitive RPG gameplay.”
The closing finale....

After TW3 they will focus in Cyberpunk 2077, quite obviously.

They are doing TW3 and Cyberpunk 2077 concurrently so I doubt it.

Nah, they are not gonna start with Cyberpunk yet. The promo trailer was just, to promote their game, to recruit more people to make it. Well at least that's what they said during the release of that vid.
*
That's what I though too before they announced TW3 but it is simply not possible. Not with Cyberbunk having a tentative 2015 released date. Plus the open world scope of both games.

Adam Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt RED, has said that the franchise will continue.

This comes as a surprise because Adam Badowski, head of the studio, had said that they were going to make the best game in the franchise and ”end the series on a high note.”

Kicinski also mentioned that the game will be released in 2014. The series has also reached 5 million sales.

“The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take place in 2014. Game will be released at the same time on the PC on new, powerful hardware and the new generation of consoles,” he said to a Polish site stooq.pl.

“This is the last part of the trilogy where there will be a grand finale of the story. But it is not clear at the end of the franchise. Franchise will continue.”

What a relief!

If they are not being sponsored by nvidia, then no, it wont have physx n to date, juz a few dev/publisher use physx.

My bet, they won't have physx as their engine is great enough.
*
my bet is also on havok like how TW1 and TW2 works. So I am looking to buy AMD but it will be after the game is released. overspec for the win haha

I think console controls should make more use of the various key combinations. If PC players can do ALT, control, and shift+any keys why can't gamepad be able to do that too? UIs should be modable so we can have something like TW1.

50 hours? Skyrim easily outlast that, even oblivon outlast it easily  tongue.gif
*
I bet 50 hours is only the main story arc. If you put that in Skyrim then there is none lol. But still I do hope their "notable" locations have to be searched and properly explored and rewarding. I seriously do not wish to have 1000 dungeons with just some gold and non-upgradable loot.

Because of level scaling, in Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3, you can just run straight to the end point and finish the game so fast.

TW3 afaik doesn't have level scaling.
*
I can see a point for level scaling in Oblivion since their story so sucks and their cities bleh...but TW3 should not have. It doesn't make sense to be as weak as a level one in a story mode game open world or not.

That's great. Having a greater pool of talent will make the game better. It is cool as long as they stay away from foreign publishers meddling in their day to day things....like Evision

Yeah I'm really happy with their boxes. Even the regular non CE ones are so nice.
laugh.gif So hardcore.
*
Yeah. The weight of the boxes for a non CE gives me super goosebumps just by thinking of the contents inside. Of course it doesn't disappoint.

QUOTE(Archaven @ Apr 8 2013, 10:41 AM)
Nowadays I don't prefer boxes anymore. Don't have much space in my bedroom. Digital now. Heck I don't even have a DVD ROM drive
*
Getting the boxes is a luxury imho cause you can't get it anywhere in Malaysia now unless you are willing to import.
