2013 Golf TSI is a superb car. Brilliant media system, top notch interior fit and finish, smooth TSI engine coupled with silky smooth DSG changes.

But frankly, its not worth RM35k more then a Sport+ Focus. The focus wins with much larger boot, arguably better looking, nicer selection of colours, and alot higher spec level.

Im looking for a car to replace my 2009 FoFo. The cars in my test list were

Subaru XV
CX-5
Ford Focus
Golf TSI

After testing all, the 2013 Fofo is still no.1 choice, only 1 car left to test, the upcoming Ford Kuga, once thats tested it will just be a choice between Kuga or Focus

XV is very very low spec. manual seats, no leather, 3 airbags only, no xenons etc

CX5 very long waiting list, and also to us, not worth 30k more then the focus.

im impressed, just impressed that Ford Focus could actually win against full spec Golf TSi which is worlds car of the year eventhough it is just personal opinion. not to mention ford focus in our market have been stripped off much of the spec enjoyed by other region.

but i must agree rm35k does not justify all the things that golf have over focus.

sorry bro your info is wrong, the fofo here is actually very well speced, especially the + models. Golf is world car, but focus is Europes best selling car. Btw, i previously owned a GTI mk5 and Scirocco. So i have owned both VW and Ford, so im not biased either way

Fofo is indeed well spec but compared tu our euro spec fofo, there are many that have been slashed out

And you actually compared asean spec fofo against Golf which is pretty much the same spec in the europe, and still you give winning point to fofo. Im impressed and respect you for that bro

Can any ACTUAL Sport owner confirm this pls?? I saw from the spec sheet both hatchbacks have LED tailights

from the spec sheets, led rear tail lamp comes as standard.
