Yes, Watami seems to be the unsupported cc for IBG via m2u at the moment. Just like the pay cc using bill payment method via m2u (RM1 fee) was not supported for Watami before May this year.

Another issue spotted and reported to AEON CS regarding the RM30 birthday voucher.
The FAQ stated as follow. Have anyone received it? I have not even past my birthday already. QUOTE Q6: How will I receive the RM30 WATAMI birthday voucher and RM50 WATAMI voucher upon card anniversary? A: The vouchers will be delivered to the cardmember at their valid mailing address at least 2 months before their birthday month and card anniversary month. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 30 2013, 10:51 AM) Mine is also not received for Birthday Voucher.... Yeap, better call them soon.My birthday month is August, should see the RM30 Birthday voucher in June, right ? Time to call the AEON CS to complain. I have forgotten about it until my birthday. Quite tired to have to remind them on things they suppose to do per TnC. |

QUOTE(AaIto @ Jul 17 2013, 04:35 PM) Today, i just received rm30 watami birthday voucher from Aeon. Sent by registered mail. Such a high theft item, hv to send a rm30 with registered mail!!!!l The Voucher is stamped with my name, condition of use is must hv ic and watami as verification, plus there's a disclaimer that Aeon not responsible for the lost of the Vouch ....Aiyoyo... speechless... However, thx Aeon anyway for it... QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 17 2013, 08:31 PM) I've also received my RM30 Birthday Voucher to spend at WATAMI restaurants (Pavillion KL/1 Utama/Paradigm Mall). It was send via Nationwide courier. Pretty safe but AEON didn't seal the envelope I have finally received mine too after 3 weeks I called to complain. Mine's valid until 30 September My birthday month was in June. The CS told me the marketing must have missed out this voucher process. Expiry end Sep too. Guess they send out ours together. |

QUOTE(edwardccg @ Nov 8 2013, 07:41 AM) the 60 sen is charged on AEON site or CIMB site? if AEON then need to top up 60sen since when reach AEON they will deduct it the charges will be refer to the 'internet banking' row on the table in 1st post? is all the charges you listed is charged by AEON site? so we need to top up the extra charges so that we could paid the exact amount for CC bill? QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 8 2013, 08:03 AM) I use m2u previously. Yes, add RM1 to your statement balance and pay. I gave up on using IBG to pay Watami cc.Now I just visit AEON counter and pay by cheque once a month. Can buy AEON voucher using M2 Amex on the same visit. |

Eh, what is this rumour about no more 3%? Hope it is due to blur CS.
@ronnie, congrats on your 3rd quarter CB. My anniversary date is 1 wk after my statement date, so will only get it in next month statement, i.e. 3 wk delay. |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Nov 12 2013, 10:34 PM) Does Anyone can confirm whether the payment can be make in 1u Aeon counter? It will be easy to make payment rather than online transfer. I pay my watami cc bill with cheque at 1U AEON counter every month. No problem at all.Thinking to apply for watami credit card as well. Any promotion currently? Trying to clear my cheque book as well before the new cheque processing fee starts. QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 14 2013, 10:46 PM) QUOTE(Human Nature @ Nov 14 2013 @ 10:36 PM) I have gone thru all pages biggrin.gif Still have 2 questions: So we just pass the application form to the Aeon counter and we will get the voucher in hardcopy? What is the $ value? Once we fulfill the 2 transaction condition, we can go to dine at WATAMI but the RM50 rebate will only be credited in the next statement. In other words, for the first dining, we have to pay in full? Thanks RM50 is creditted into your CC statement (i receive mine on 2nd Statement) My dinning rebate was in the same statement as my dinning tranx. Probably because I dinned early of the statement cycle. This post has been edited by tbheng: Nov 16 2013, 10:31 AM |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Nov 16 2013, 12:33 PM) i wonder why paying by internet banking using interbank giro is not easier than paying at the counter? also it only costs rm0.10 per transaction. cheque cost rm0.15/pc and by 1/4/14, there will be a processing fee of rm0.50 per cheque. QUOTE(victorywp @ Nov 16 2013, 12:48 PM) Ya, I gave up on the IBG via m2u option at the meantime until they got it fixed. Hopefully it is fixed by April next year.Meanwhile, I just make my trip worthwhile, e.g. to use up my cheque books; to buy AEON vouchers (utilising my MB2 Amex 5% 5xTP) in preparation for year end sales (can use on weekdays); to do another back office task. 5 missions in 1 trip. Not bad lah! |

QUOTE(DM3 @ Nov 23 2013, 10:38 PM) I know it sounds confusing. But that is how AEON call it. You redeem your point for "Cash Rebate" where it show as credit in your statement. See the link I provide here again. I also do a screenshot as attached here. Notice the heading says "Cash Rebate" and the product you redeem is RM50 credit (AEON call it Cash Rebate) that require 12,500 points. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jan 1 2014, 12:17 PM) When you change your SMS Transaction Alert Limit, you get this SMS confirmation. CODE RM0.00 AEON CREDIT: Your transaction alert limit has been changed to RM1. Call our Customer Care if you need further assistance. TQ SMS is received, right after the CS is actually press "submit" on their system QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jan 1 2014, 01:28 PM) Yup! I have just called CS and the sms confirmation came in 5min after the call. Surprisingly efficient. Cool. I actually rate Aeon's level of customer service (not the normal call line but the one who contacted me as a follow up) to be higher than all my other credit card's bank. I must have forgotten to set for this card previously. The default was RM500 as informed by CS. Thanks for the heads up, guys. This post has been edited by tbheng: Jan 2 2014, 04:13 PM |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Jan 2 2014, 03:49 PM) I just applied this card yesterday at AEON Midvalley, 2nd Floor. The staff doesn't seems to be knowledgeable about the product. They think everyone who apply for this card does it for the Watami. If they did a little homework on all the cc available in Malaysia, they would have known that they should focus more on the 3% rebate as a way to promote the card. I believe they would have gotten much more sign up that way... QUOTE(ronnie @ Jan 2 2014, 04:06 PM) QUOTE(Gen-X @ Jan 2 2014, 04:10 PM) hahaha, if every LYN members who are active in this CC section go and apply for the Watami card, next year sure AEON will exclude the 3% for insurance, government agencies and utility bills. I can still remember the counter guy look at me with confused expression like saying why is this guy rushing here all the way just to apply one unheard of card. He has to struggle reading the form and brochure to attend to me. Haha Now, my card is on auto-pilot reaping CB quarter after quarter from my drawer. Please... no cutting off that 3%. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 13 2014, 01:08 PM) I downloaded my Feb statement and the GST is charged to my account. I called up to AEON CS and receive a call back which offers me GST offset (both principal & supplementary) with 1 swipe within 3 months.... It will be credited in 3 months time QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 13 2014, 10:08 PM) Congrats... But take 3 months to be credited is a bit long. For me, sometime I'll forget to check again. Nevertheless, it is still a good news. This post has been edited by tbheng: Feb 14 2014, 01:44 AM |

QUOTE(v2_vehooi @ Feb 15 2014, 11:08 AM) For your info and for everyone here The meaning of "cash Rebate" in AEON is you only can knock off the fee such as GST. The cash rebate will not credit to your CC account in order settle part of your CC balance. I've asked and confirm since last year. QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 15 2014, 11:49 AM) You are absolutely wrong... or rather mislead by AEON's incompetent CS. I've been converting 12500 points into RM50 credit into my CC each time I get >12500 points collected. QUOTE(DarReNz @ Feb 15 2014, 02:04 PM) do you mean when you have Aeon Gold you get RM50 credited but with Watami you get RM 50 watami voucher ? Yes, my experience is the same as ronnie.Refer what appear on my watami statement as attached here. And my card anniversary is in Feb. QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 21 2014, 11:12 AM) Not true... the T&C states it's used to offset WATAMI dining, yet it is credited into my CC statement... I always dine at WATAMI, so no issues for me. QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 21 2014, 11:51 AM) QUOTE(tifosi @ Feb 21 2014, 12:12 PM) Anyone else got? I only got 1 credit for RM 50 for my GST deduction. But I haven't dine in Watami before with the card. I got the 1st RM50 credit in 1st statement for the GST off-set.ronnie, can you screenshot how the rebate looks like on the statement? I got the 2nd RM50 credit in 2nd statement for the dining rebate (refer description in attached screenshots). And this one is after my dining visit to Watami. I have called CS, they said must swipe in Watami first then the dining rebate will be posted. Oh, btw, my swipe at watami was below RM100 (after the discount using the watami card).
