Yes, Watami seems to be the unsupported cc for IBG via m2u at the moment.
Just like the pay cc using bill payment method via m2u (RM1 fee) was not supported for Watami before May this year.

Another issue spotted and reported to AEON CS regarding the RM30 birthday voucher.
The FAQ stated as follow. Have anyone received it? I have not even past my birthday already.

Yeap, better call them soon.
I have forgotten about it until my birthday.
Quite tired to have to remind them on things they suppose to do per TnC.

I have finally received mine too after 3 weeks I called to complain.
My birthday month was in June. The CS told me the marketing must have missed out this voucher process.
Expiry end Sep too. Guess they send out ours together.

At least now we can see it is consistently running on 2nd and posted on 11th of month.

I use m2u previously. Yes, add RM1 to your statement balance and pay. I gave up on using IBG to pay Watami cc.
Now I just visit AEON counter and pay by cheque once a month. Can buy AEON voucher using M2 Amex on the same visit. (Stocking up vouchers for year end sales.)

Eh, what is this rumour about no more 3%? Hope it is due to blur CS.

My anniversary date is 1 wk after my statement date, so will only get it in next month statement, i.e. 3 wk delay.

I pay my watami cc bill with cheque at 1U AEON counter every month. No problem at all.
Trying to clear my cheque book as well before the new cheque processing fee starts.

I got my dessert voucher only when I collect my card at the counter. The voucher was with the first serial number. The counter said it was the first watami card issued from that branch.
My dinning rebate was in the same statement as my dinning tranx. Probably because I dinned early of the statement cycle.

Ya, I gave up on the IBG via m2u option at the meantime until they got it fixed. Hopefully it is fixed by April next year.

Meanwhile, I just make my trip worthwhile, e.g. to use up my cheque books; to buy AEON vouchers (utilising my MB2 Amex 5% 5xTP) in preparation for year end sales (can use on weekdays); to do another back office task. 5 missions in 1 trip. Not bad lah!

I redeemed the point collected for Cash Rebate : 12,500 pt for RM50.
More clear cut than voucher. Cash is king.

I am using Watami and redeemed the RM50 cash rebate last month.

I know it sounds confusing. But that is how AEON call it.
You redeem your point for "Cash Rebate" where it show as credit in your statement.

I also do a screenshot as attached here. Notice the heading says "Cash Rebate" and the product you redeem is RM50 credit (AEON call it Cash Rebate) that require 12,500 points.

Just received my 3rd Quarterly CB. Great!
Quarterly is kinda long wait, though...

I have just called CS and the sms confirmation came in 5min after the call. Surprisingly efficient. Cool.
I must have forgotten to set for this card previously. The default was RM500 as informed by CS.

I can still remember the counter guy look at me with confused expression like saying why is this guy rushing here all the way just to apply one unheard of card. He has to struggle reading the form and brochure to attend to me. Haha
Now, my card is on auto-pilot reaping CB quarter after quarter from my drawer.
Please... no cutting off that 3%.

But take 3 months to be credited is a bit long. For me, sometime I'll forget to check again.
Nevertheless, it is still a good news.

For me, I'll choose to redeem "Cash Rebate" instead of cash vouchers.
Reason#1 : "Cash Rebate" can be used to knock off cc bill balance straight away.
Reason#2 : I will swipe cc to collect more points or cash back instead of using cash vouchers.

I got the 1st RM50 credit in 1st statement for the GST off-set.
I got the 2nd RM50 credit in 2nd statement for the dining rebate (refer description in attached screenshots). And this one is after my dining visit to Watami. I have called CS, they said must swipe in Watami first then the dining rebate will be posted.
Oh, btw, my swipe at watami was below RM100 (after the discount using the watami card).
