For me, I'll choose to redeem "Cash Rebate" instead of cash vouchers.
Reason#1 : "Cash Rebate" can be used to knock off cc bill balance straight away.
Reason#2 : I will swipe cc to collect more points or cash back instead of using cash vouchers.

The meaning of "cash Rebate" in AEON is you only can knock off the fee such as GST. The cash rebate will not credit to your CC account in order settle part of your CC balance. I've asked and confirm since last year.

You are absolutely wrong... or rather mislead by AEON's incompetent CS.
I've been converting 12500 points into RM50 credit into my CC each time I get >12500 points collected.

do you mean when you have Aeon Gold you get RM50 credited but with Watami you get RM 50 watami voucher ?

Yes, my experience is the same as ronnie.

And my card anniversary is in Feb.

Went to applies for Watami card, get to know that there is no more free dessert voucher to be giving.

Staff told me the CL for this card will be combine with Aeon credit card. But previously there are separately CL

i thought all these while all bank / financial institutes are the same? All card share one credit limit.

i went to check at aeon puchong and they still have the free dessert voucher for aeon watami sign up. which aeon you went to?

SA told me better spend until RM 3001 and above.

ic... that means still M2card better. becoz got 5x points unlimited (= 2%) and 5% cash back capped at Rm50.

So if you spend Rm1000 per month on weekends x 3 months, you will get RM3000 x 7% = RM210
edit: compared to watami which is 3% = RM90

So this card is good for BT, or major purchases >Rm3000 only

Most likely Watami will be weekdays spending whereas MBB Amex is on weekends for sure.

If the place no accept for Amex on weekends, then Watami will be one of card to be use

As with Maybank, don't trust the customer service. I went to Aeon Jusco midvalley to ask about the Aeon BT. I told them that I want to BT from MBB to Aeon. I applied for Aeon Watami card. The SA told me that I have to go MBB to get it done. Ask 3x... same answer

should be share since same issued by Aeon, this is what I understanding.

I applied 2 weeks ago in AEON Sunway Pyramid and they still have the Watami dessert voucher~
